Trimble 800L with kestrel D3?

So I picked up a Trimble nomad 800L off eBay with Coldbore for $100

Supposedly in full working order so I figured I had to give it a shot

Trying to rebuild my kit on limited funds.
Anyone know if the kestrel D3 would work with this set up via Bluetooth?

Unfortunately the D Series only works on Android or iOS via the Kestrel Link application. No standard bluetooth protocol is supported, which is needed for Windows Mobile.
