My OBR and a friend's just came in Monday and Tuesday. We've pimped his already, but haven't gotten to shoot either one yet. The appearance, quality, and feel are everything we'd been hoping for. Incredible machines. They were both ordered early December '08, for anyone that is waiting. Alfred at Larue is the MAN.
General info: The MIAD has a air gap above the tang area of the largest back insert, but doesn't seem to hurt anything, is quite secure, feels great. The front troy slingmount at 6 o'clock near the magwell works VERY well, perhaps better than 3 or 9. I was surprised at how well the rifle hung and the sling ran right along the bottom of the forearm when holding the rifle in the firing position. Very nice. The Noveske sling plate dropped in after a quick de-staking of the original unit, and the AAC 762SD brake mount timed right up!
