Ok the Shout box folks have heard me talk about them enough but figured i would post up about two builds i'm starting to have done.
first is a old K98 my grandfather gave me, it was sporterized once along time ago, it holds a lot of meaning to me so i'm having it rebuilt so i can shoot it, and enjoy it. benchmark barrels is doin the build.
MPI tactical stock
heat treat action, trued and lapped
22" 260Rem fluted and threaded with cap
Cerakote
20MOA base and bipod rail
Timney trigger
threaded bolt knob if they can or a replacement bolt
and then i'm sending steve morrison of Mars a 1911 of mine for a full house build.
kart barrel
a truckload of his own Mars parts
chen magwell
ambi controls
golf balling
etc etc etc.
will post more as it happens but that should be a long term build. not looking for overnight service.
just though some might find this interesting i'll update with pics as i get them.
