I was curious if anyone offered an non-inletted chassis. I have an idea/concept of putting a particular rifle into a chassis, but am unsure if anyone even offers an non-inletted chassis.

I've been thinking about building an uber .22 match rifle built on a 1727 Fortner action, and maybe seeing if @LongRifles Inc. match the action to an non-inletted chassis.

Considering the price, this is still in the "idea fairy" phase, but was just curious if anyone had any info for this kind of (crazy) idea?

The path of less resistance would be to just start with a blank and have the "chassis" machined and fitted accordingly. To my knowledge, no stock company offers a "builder" blank specific to what you are talking about.

We have the resources here to take care of this from start to finish but as you mentioned, the barrier of entry isn't exactly "price-friendly": simply because the likelihood of me being approached for a run of em is pretty low.

    This

Which I have two of works great for NRL22 comps and biathlon.

Or To hit the Uber price, the new 3D printed Anschutz stock.

I have a buddy who imports the Bear stocks. I can get you in touch with him.

All of the three are fully adjustable and are gtg already inleted.

Thanks, but not really looking for a biathlon stock, more like a LR trainer stock.

Chad gave me a couple ideas of how I might go down this path...

I gotcha, but don’t get hung up on the “biathlon” stock or the look of them.
These can be set up to mimic your cf rifle chassis fit. The Lost nation has more adjustments and options than you will ever need.
I have looked, you won’t find anything else to fit the Fortner action. So yeah you would have to start from scratch.
