UPDATE VID AND PICS Manners & magpul AI question

Guys, I have a manners mcs PRS1TK for my tikka ctr which takes ai mags as its manners chassis system. I've been looking at magpuls AI mags as they state they will work on anything that accepts ai mags. Anyone if they will work? Any good? I love pmags and if these mags work and are cheaper why not. Thought I'd ask b4 a purchase. Thanks

They won't work with the Tikka without modification.

Can't speak on Tikka actions, but I just had to sand down the top of the feed lips on the Magpuls to work in my manners mini chassis...no big deal. Ultimately, $35 isn't a whole lot of money to buy and try.

Purchased the magpul aics mag. When I tried to insert it in the stock, no go. Not even close. I ended up taking alot of material off the sides of feed lips. Magpul has a rib that needs to be taken off. Also opened up mag well so I can run same length as the metal aics mag and ended up going a bit past that. To be honest, the magpul mag is much smoother when cycling rounds. I dont need to use near the force I did with metal mag. Overall, 30 min of sanding and fitting was well worth saving over 50$ and it performs better. A plus....it top loads. Not the best vids but you get the idea. Thanks for all the help guys.
