Upgrade your AICS 1.0 to a 1.5

Hello Gents,

I just had a number of upgrade kits built to add an adjustable cheekrest to your AICS 1.0. The difference between a 1.0 and 1.5 AICS is the 1.5 features an adjustable cheekrest. Now you can upgrade your 1.0 in minutes!

This kit should work on most AICS 1.0 - if you want to know if our kit will work on yours, remove the skins and look for the two silver threaded inserts with guide holes in the rear of the chassis (see the pics below). If you have these threaded holes then you can add the adjustable cheekrest in conjunction with our 1.5 Viper Skins.

Each kit comes with our famous Grippy Cheekrest, a VCUSA Designed Cheekrest Bracket, mounting screws and two thumbscrews. We designed our bracket to be lighter than the OEM AI Cheekrest bracket with all the strength and durability.

Very cool! I did a write up on a 1.0-1.5 conversion some years back here using the origional skins, chassis was ready but the skins themselves needed some trimming, nothing a exacto knife and a steady hand cant handle, or buy new skins

looks pretty well done to me, couldn't tell the difference.
