I have just received word that the Burmese dictatorship has given the ethnic groups within the country the ultimatum to surrender all of their weapons or face annihilation. Having those weapons is the only thing that has saved them from mass killings by the government. Please join me in praying for these poor people who have suffered so much under a regime that routinely uses torture and summary executions of men, women, and children to enforce its policies. Many Christian and Buddhist Karen, Kachin, Chin and other ethnic minorities within Burma face extermination at the hand of these butchers who are second only to North Korea and maybe Iran when it comes to oppression and cruelty.
