Call them and have them fax or mail you a copy of their warranty for you to review. They stand behind their product. You might also have them send along the instructions for adjusting an EREK and centering the reticle. Bottom line is, if you break the reticle and/or erector because you don't properly operate the scope then the repair is on you.

Thanks for all the advice. If I did have an issue, anyone know a basic turn around time. I am just curious if I would be out of a scope for 3+ months.

I can personally disagree with that statement. I crashed my erector into the side of the tube of a second hand USO by being a moron and broke one of the LEDs. I told them it was my fault for being an idiot and they still fixed it for free. They even upgraded me to a different reticle that I really wanted for free at the same time.

Hmmm,
I wonder how many people here have actually had to use USO's warranty service? My experiences were negative. I had sent a ST-10 back for a factory defect, they sent it back to me and told me there was nothing wrong with it. I sent the scope back to them again with a picture clearly highlighting the assembly error and after calling and hassling them they agreed to fix this "minor" problem. Both times I had to pay for shipping on my own dime and the second time, it took them 2 months to send the scope back to me when they quoted me 1 week. In addition I have a friend who had tried to send his scope back because the elevation knob was sticking before he could dial it up fully, USO told him it shouldn't matter unless he was planning on actually shooting that far. That sure sounds like great service.

You can disagree all you want - my feedback is consistent with their written policy. Should USO decide to do something above and beyond their written policy then by all means that is their option.

I sent back a scope for warranty work. The turn around was fast, no questions asked. They fixed the problem, paid for all the OVERNIGHT shipping and I haven't had a problem since.

+1 Becky is great to talk to!

They have a lifelong customer with me.

Reticles are glass. They can be broken.

However, the written warranty is one thing. The crazy crap that USO has accepted under "warranty" is just amazing. Thankfully I have not had to use either their customer service or their warranty.

Just put the last payment on the MST-100 so we will see if this one is just as good as my SN-3.

I have gotten first rate service on the phone and in person from USO personnel, John III himself I believe and an excellent technician he assigned to work on my scope. The work was completed on the spot by the tech, I never got his name, but he had "suicide" written on the inside of his ball cap. All work was at no charge!

I have been treated like a king with these guys at USO. Arnold is the best,he mounted my scope and bore sighted it for me, no charge and showed me around the shop and Jeff is real cool also. I will continue to tell people about USO and the great,fantastic service they gave me. They are top notch.

USO has no competitor in quality, customer service, and sheer awesomeness of product. Do not compare nightfarce to them because there is no comparison. Shit and bendit either. Ask them to put a left hand windage knob on an S&B or a nightforce, See if they will annodize it green or brown for you or take changes while your scope is being built. NO COMPARISON. USO is in a class by themselves. JBW III is a top notch individual and his word can be taken to the bank. If you want the best product and best service... do yourself a favor go for USO

Try this with a company other than USO-
"John, how much will you credit me on the scope I bought last year as a trade towards the same model in a completely different setup, and I want the windage turret on the wrong side this time by the way?"

-let me know what kind of answer you get.

USO is not the only company with outstanding products or customer services, but they are THE custom shop. I don't kid myself or anyone else that they are perfect, but they've been very good to me in the past and that's what is important to this consumer.

Same here.
I can be absolutely sure I will be taken care of when I deal with them. That includes me fucking up the order on my 2nd USO by not realizing the difference between the zeroing knobs and the slimline knobs. It was my mistake....they took care of me.
They regularly exceed my expectations and NEVER fail to meet them.
