Seen quite a few people interested in taking a CVT LR Precision course with Ed Shell. Just wanted to start a "On Topic" thread here in the members link up section. I would like to get an idea of who would be interested, and hopefully serious about a group session. I had previously scheduled the weekend of July 20 & 21 (yes it will be hot), but I can check with Ed and find available dates if need be. Would love to get a group of 4-6 local guys for this!

Edit:
Prices removed as they were based on old information, and a three day course curriculum.
Get with me if you are still interested. Once we have a handful of committed guys, I will coordinate with Ed, to ensure that we all have the accurate information.

Additionally - I have a line on 2 BR cabins at Shenandoah Crossings resort. Rate ~ $60 for the whole weekend (through employer) so anyone interested, has local lodging at a very good rate.

Depending on my schedule (and if the cuts from Sequestration doesn't get me laid off again); I'd be interested in the opportunity to get some Long Range training and practice under the critical eye of an Expert. I'd be willing to do either a 1-day or 2-day course.

I'd be in for this as well. My work schedule is somewhat flexible but the sooner we get something together, the easier it is for me to ensure I'm around for 2-3 days. For you guys that haven't trained with Ed, he's awesome. This will be my third time with him and he's upped my skills every time we've gotten together. Besides, the cost of the class is worth it just to watch Ed call wind. Here's what I'm talking about:

That was from the last class I took with Ed firing 180gr Bergers in my Gradous 7 WSM at 1145 yards off bipod and rear bag. As I said, Ed's a hell of an instructor.

I see a lot of interest in the two day course. I think Ed typically runs a 3 day, which I'm sure would be better for me as a newbie. It makes sense to learn the basics before getting on the range. I've asked him if he can format the course so that the new guys can get the day 1 training, and then merge with the more experienced guys for more detail oriented field training on days two and three.

I can only do weekends because I just started working last January after a 4-month layoff so I do not have much in the way of a vacation outside of the training courses (I am signed up for two in April) and a family wedding (in September) I already committed to a couple of months back.

So a 3-day course would be hard to swing unless it is spread over a couple of weekends.
