velcro attached handguard pad

A guy who shot at a recent 600yd shoot had this really nice looking nylon pad mounted to his handguard with velcro. I thought it looked comfy but didn't get a chance to ask him where he got it.


I've tried every key word imaginable and can't find a site selling something similar.

Any ideas?

Yup, that's it. Sure looked like it saved some flesh (and the firearm finish on some over barracade shots. Thought I'd like to have one but couldn't have imagined the search term "Skid plate".

I have one on all of my rifles and they are FANTASTIC for barricade shots and also make for a comfortable foreend when shooting slung. Great company, great product.

I am looking at getting one of these for my Rem 700VS. It still has the original stock on it. Which would be the best version to get the A3 or the A5?

That figures....I used to put something similar on my rifles years ago and was told it was a stupid idea....it didnt stop me from doing it though....

It will also help with (IF PADDED) negative affects from shooting from a hard surface......

+1 on the skid plate, but be careful it comes in two sizes.
