VG6 makes good brakes for AR's, and now they have a precision bolt gun oriented brake. However, there doesn't seem to be much discussion about this brake in general, let alone on here, so I figure I'd make this thread/poll. It's being sold on sale for like $60 right now, so I thought I'd collect people's thoughts. I've read around already, and I get that some people like suppressors, but there are states (California) that don't allow suppressors, so I would like for suppressor capability to not be accounted for-- just recoil reduction, muzzle control, concussion, etc.

What have people's experiences been?

I took my Tikka T3X out the other day to get some muzzle velocity readings. It was only 25 yards to the berm so I didn’t get a proper contact with the gun as my vision was maintaining chronograph alignment and safe shooting direction. But if you take those into account, I gotta say I do believe the recoil of my rifle to have been greatly mitigated. It felt...comfortable. Judging by the design it was probably offensive to the next shooter if I wasn’t alone, but the shooter behind the rifle would be there all day. I wish I had a proper marriage to the rifle so I can see how much the reticle danced on the follow through. And installation is simple and it’s design is great. Easy on. Easy off.
