Our first shipments of VIperSkins 1.5 and 2.0 arrived today! Which means everyone who ordered should be getting your skins in a few days.

I snapped some more pictures of the ViperSkins 1.5 for your viewing pleasure. I'm really proud of how they look and feel, I thank everyone involved for their hard work in making these possible.

Again for those of you who don't know, ViperSkins are an AICS upgrade which replace the old thumbhole skins (side stocks) for $199 you can upgrade your AICS.

(Sorry the pics are kinda crappy- I didn't get a chance to pretty them up.)

Nice looking ergonomic design, and certainly, judging by the pictures, very good quality injection molding you got here. Should have been a bit of technological challenge and real big bucks to have this accomplished. Did your molding partner work with you to optimize your design for production, or you just got incredibly lucky to find a molder with incrediable capabilities?

Are the rails you sell for these made special made? I didn't order the rails just yet because the site indicated that they weren't yet available.

Thanks for your order! Yes I have a large shipment of rails coming in about 12 days. You are welcome to preorder them and we will send them out as soon as they arrive. Otherwise check back at the end of next week and we should be close.

AICS 2.0 w/American made ViperSkins (the American AICS version)
Timney Trigger w/1.5 lbs
EGW 20MOA w/TPS rings

The Skins fit very well. It came with new mounting bolts for everything. A couple of allan wrenches and some instructions (which I read afterwards).

I might get another, but I'm going to use this one a while before I decide. Mind you, I don't have anything against the thumb hole, I may be one of the few that do like it. But I have to be honest and say, I like the pistol grip too.

I'd like to paint it if I can find someone in the DFW area that has a good reputation for that sort of thing.

That pretty much sums up where I am on this too.

After 6 years of the thumbhole, it would be great to try something different on the AW.

If the Viperskins are anywhere near as good quality as the AccuStack, I'll be well pleased.

These look soooooo much better than the standard AI stock. Cool product. Are there any other variations or skins for the AI chassis?
