Nephew used to have a toy that would throw a ball of air, was fun to use on the cat.

A kid had one on Bourbon street a couple Mardi Gras' ago. Kinda like an air slingshot. Ton of laughs watching him hit the drunks with a ball of air.

The Germans experimented with a very large version of this during WWII to knock down bombers.It worked in testing but was to large and bulky and was never used operationaly.I made a small version from a 5gal bucket a 1 1/2" dia peice of PVC with a rubber membrane over the open end.I used it to dislodge small indoor free flight model airplanes from rafters.
