The main thing I don't understand is that if humans have altered the atmosphere in a damaging way causing negative effects, is there a way to reverse those effects?

Because, if there is not a realistic way to reverse those effects and scientists are telling us that the atmosphere is sufficiently damaged that it may cause the "world to end" in twelve years, why isn't everyone freaking out and partying like the world is about to end literally.

People love to virtue signal and they think it makes them appear smart to accept as true some of the global warming bs "science" but their actions show they don't actually believe it.
