A friend of mine had this scope mounted up on a .300 WTF bolt rifle and I had the opportunity to try it out on the range this past weekend. I was really impressed with the optical quality and the somewhat unique turret adjustments. Pull up to unlock, make your adjustment, then back down to lock. No tools were needed to re-set the turrents to zero either. I liked the reticle (German w/ center illuminated dot) as well. The illumination wasn't daylight visible, but worked well indoors. At right around $500 it seemed like a great buy. Any other experiences with the scope?
I've been fleshing out some options for a low-range variable for use on my M1A EBR. I almost pulled the trigger on SWFAs' SS 1-4X but think I'll wait to see if they put the new 1-6X on group buy. Still liking the Weaver though for the price.
