Well, Black Rifle Coffee, that was stupid, wasn't it?... "We do not support Kyle Rittenhouse or his legal defense efforts".

Utah, huh? Did you guys stumble upon a huge buried pile of Conquistador gold in the sand hills or something? Because going woke, even partially woke, means you go broke... What is so hard to understand? In a time when real Patriots need to stand together for the country they love, you are going to pull a LOLcow stunt like this? LOL...

Do you realize that a PILLOW company has got more balls than you? And look at you there, bending the knee to some freaks on Twitter whose opinions should be worth less to you than the rancid sludge that I scraped from a ceiling conduit in preparation for a commercial fryer installation yesterday.

    ----------
A Salt Lake City coffee company said it objected to a tweet posted by a Blaze Media reporter who tied its coffee to Kyle Rittenhouse, accused of killing two people during an August protest in Wisconsin.

Elijah Schaffer tweeted a since-removed photo of the 17-year-old wearing a Black Rifle Coffee Company shirt with the caption, “Kyle Rittenhouse drinks the best coffee in America.” The teenager was released Friday after supporters raised his $2 million bail.

Schaffer posted a discount code for the coffee under the post with the photo. And online, commenters questioned whether the coffee company had a sponsorship deal with Rittenhouse and accused it of supporting murder and hate.

A spokesperson for the coffee company told The Salt Lake Tribune on Saturday afternoon that the company was terminating its sponsorship of Slightly Offens*ve, but late Saturday, she said she had misunderstood.

“We are not fluctuating our ad spend,” she said in a text message. “We did have a conversation with Schaffer, and he understands that the post was a mistake.”

Blaze employees “make decisions about how to allocate ad dollars within the Blaze,” she said, but she did not clarify whether Black Rifle would request to end its placement as a podcast sponsor. She said the company and Blaze are discussing “how to move forward with the allocation of ad dollars.”

The company is focused on making coffee and supporting the military community, she said, and will not comment on an ongoing legal matter.
“We don’t traffic in national tragedy and to us, that’s what this is,” she said. “We are not legal experts or members of law enforcement. We fully support all law enforcement officials and believe in the integrity of the legal system.”

Black Rifle Coffee is a Salt Lake City-based roaster that brands itself as a gun-loving, conservative company started by veterans. In a statementSaturday afternoon, co-founder Evan Hafer said, “We do not support legal advocacy efforts. We do not sponsor nor do we have a relationship with the 17-year-old facing charges in Kenosha, WI.”

Rittenhouse faces charges that he allegedly shot and killed two people and injured a third during an August protest that followed the police shooting of Jacob Blake in Kenosha, Wis.

The photo of Rittenhouse in the Black Rifle Coffee shirt was posted by attorney Lin Wood, who represents Rittenhouse and is assisting President Donald Trump in challenging the presidential election outcome in Georgia. Wood identified the two men standing with Rittenhouse as attorney John Pierce, at left, and actor Ricky Schroder.

Twitter users criticized Black Rifle on Saturday for not explicitly condemning Rittenhouse’s alleged actions.

Still the best coffee out there. Ill continue to buy it because although maybe they didn’t go all in here, they do a lot for veterans and LE and that matters too.

Not everything is all or nothing. That’s the socialist method of cancel culture. They are just trying to not muddy the waters and given what is politically probably coming it’s smart on their part. I’d be willing to bet they are on the front lines when Beto starts the Biden gun policy bullshit.

it's there right to support or not to support him in that same token It's my right to choose to buy or not to buy there product based on what ever i want to do with my money . people still watch sports and go to games its there choice even though they directly paid for blm and antifa violence across the us so in turn those people who spent there money on those pass times also supported antifa and the blm terrorist Just like all those tech companies and businesses and billionaires .

I get what you are saying about not muddying the waters, but the issue that bothered me was that they bent their knee and issued that statement AFTER these Twitter losers tried to call them out.

If I was the owner or public relations person of that company and some fucking simps on Twitter ask me if I am going to "condemn" a 17 year old for protecting his life, I will find pictures online of the BIGGEST and nastiest prolapsed buttholes, and videos of freaks fisting themselves with the biggest dildos ever seen and reply to them with these pictures and videos... Nothing more and nothing less...

Meh, the statement is pretty mundane. They didnt comdemn the man, just distanced themselves a bit.

Best bet would have been to just ignore the mob imo. Not likely their base. Will they lose some customers? Idk, but this move aint likely to bring more.

Tangent: is this coffee that good? I get the whole support angle and thats very cool.

I drink lots of coffee, too much tbh. Did the grind your own beans thing years ago. Settled on folgers (columbian or black silk). usually have 15lbs or more on hand. id rather wipe my ass with my hand in corona-rage-fueled lockdown, than run out of coffee. hell id even go scoot my ass across the frozen grass...Thats facts.

Might give some beans another go. Any suggestions?

BRCC is trying to be capitalist and grow/bring in as many customers as possible, and defend themselves against the Cancel Culture which has taken hold of this country ON BOTH SIDES.

Being neutral on an issue is A-OK with me. I will continue to buy their products. Silencer Smooth is some of the best tasting coffee I have ever had in my life.

the days of being able to be “neutral” are quickly coming to an end.

the fascists won’t tolerate any opposition.

when i learned of germany/concentration camps and watched video of people getting loaded onto trains, i never could understand how they went along like sheep-knowing where and what awaited them. all i can say is, i understand all too well now. “stay in the crowd, keep your head down, maybe they’ll pick the other guy”.

problem is, they run out of the “other guy”. darkness is about to envelope the world.

    Don't like liberal cancel culture?

Then don't promote conservative cancel culture.

Less than zero fucks given about Hafer's statement and I'd almost guarantee anybody who took issue with BRCC after that Today show video drinks Hipsterbucks anyway.

All this is a part of the continuous growth of the American great divide. I like(d) BRCC, not the coffee, but the veterans that they ate. I’m extremely disappointed that they attempted neutrality on this. The divide widens. Scary times we find ourselves in. I grow more and more disillusioned daily.

Gents, the next Civil war is among us. It is not being fought with bullets, but purely with ideals. The fabric of our Nation is being torn apart at the hands of the Left. At this point, we only have one option on the table..... “Nobody ever defended anything successfully, there is only attack and attack and attack some more.” – George S. Patton

Yes, you are disillusioned if you think a company that decides to be neutral on a particular issue is the problem in society.

Some of these comments show exactly why there is no winning and why we can’t have nice things.

Companies can remain neutral. People can decide they don’t have an opinion to give. This is their business and the owners decided they weren’t going to play the game.

Their neutrality doesn’t make them anything other than what they are...a coffee company that works to support their community.

Don’t become the thing you hate by vilifying everyone that doesn’t do exactly what you want.

I don't think anyone here has a problem with BRCC trying to remain neutral, but when they cancel advertising with the Blaze because a bunch of Twitter fucksticks start their shit up that's not remaining neutral IMO. That is not having the balls to stand up to the left who don't support your company in the first place.

They should have said........"We can't control who buys and wears our T-Shirts if that is a problem for you don't buy our coffee" "For those of you who do love our coffee we will keep making the best product we can enjoy!"

That is is absolutely all they needed to say.........IMO

Agreed but I still feel it necessary to send them an email and let them know they're walking dangerously close to a dangerous line that will piss off a huge portion of their base.

A 17yr old defended himself from an armed pedophile, an armed felon, and an armed rapist....if you or you company want to remain "neutral" on this subject you can suck my dick.

You can't claim to support the 2A, then not support people when they use the 2a to defend themselves.

    BRC can get fucked

Do they really think those blue haired feminists that are outraged on twitter are drinking their coffee anyways?

I wouldn't mistake BRCC's professed neutrality on this topic as being reflective of the opinions of company leadership or employees.

I happen to be a HUGE fan and purchaser of BRC as well. Kyle Rittenhouse is also a major adherent of BRCC and his/Lin Wood's tweet has actually provided additional advertisement for them. That is why I did a double take when I read that article. Granted, my thread may have been a bit too harsh, but I think in these times, we should stand strong on common issues amongst Patriots that have been defining beacons of the continued fight to preserve this Republic. What Kyle Rittenhouse had been forced to do that night had been something that many, if not most people, would freeze up and be completely overwhelmed in the face of, coming under attack from not just one, but THREE armed thugs and career criminals who are hell bent on trying to kill you... His battle had literally been our equivalent of Lexington and Concord...

    Hi,

Has anyone checked to see if their sponsorship package with Blaze was up for renewal and the cost did not warrant the ROI?
And the timing is just what it is....

Has anyone checked to see if Fox News is reporting facts or assumptions as to the reasoning of the cancellation?
I thought last week Fox was fake news....

Does anyone have statement from BRCC on their Blaze cancellation or is everyone going with what Fox news says?

I totally agree with you. Thats no excuse for us to rip ourselves apart in threads like this.

THEY, the neo-commies, are the problem. NOT companies like BRCC who decide to remain neutral in this particular matter.

Some people on here think BRCC "switched sides" or "showed whose side they are on" etc. Thats completely flawed logic used by leftist to isolate an entity and alienate it from supporters like in Rules for Radical.

People need to take a step back and think critically about what thought process created this thread, and why are leftist tactics being used on entities who are clearly "with us" in 99% of other situations.

    DON'T FEED THE MACHINE!

If BRCC did not want to take a stand to support Kyle, the could have simply said nothing!

But instead they CHOSE to make a statement in an attempt to show that they do NOT directly support the issue.

That is how the LEFT WINS! They call you out in an attempt to make you show where you stand. DON'T play their F%$@#*! games!

When needed, let your actions speak louder than your words, otherwise say nothing. We succeeded in the Revolutionary War because we were as adept at fighting from the shadows as we were from the front lines!

No, of course not. All we get is weaponized autistic screeching from @Blue Sky Country and @TheGerman and others who want to gargle their seminal fluid about coffee recommendations and are employing backward leftist logic of "well, if you don't 100% agree with me 100% of the time about 100% of The Things, well I'm gonna get all my people and cancel you out."

One of those Twitter denizens who called out BRCC first was some two-bit 'actress' that probably nobody knows about.

If I were BRCC's PR guy, I would respond to her with this message: "Hey Ms., I would suggest douching and cleaning out your crotch before you engage in an attempted conversation with this company. I can literally smell the syphilis and the years of fermenting semen that have been dumped into your vag through my computer screen. I am fucking disgusted".

Idk, ask BRCC. I dont work for them.

And yes, there should have been no charges filed, but they were, so here we are. Deal with it. But coming down on a company for being neutral is completely unreasonable.

Waiting to see on this. That statement alone did not sound very "neutral". I think maybe it came across as crass, but they have been moving toward sitting on a fence. Look at Cabela's now selling their stuff. Cabelas keeps embracing companies such as under armor and Yeti despite their openly anti gun stances and monetary support of that position. IE, they (Yeti and UA) helped Biden/Harris. F that! Waiting to hear clarification, but will have to dump it out and stick with Folgers if they support the side that thinks this kid is wrong. At some point you have to call it like it appears, and every video out supports 3 CRYSTAL CLEAR cases of self defense.
