Attacks on health care facilities, dire security concerns escalating latest Ebola outbreak

https://www.foxnews.com/health/atta...rity-concern-escalating-latest-ebola-outbreak

Personally, I am at the point where I think some of these countries need a giant slate-wiping virus... or a meteor strike.

If you want to burn down and loot the Ebola clinic in your S#!+ hole country... well then bleed out on your own, morons.

Grim Reaper, please pick up the white courtesy phone. Mr. Reaper, call for you on the white courtesy phone.

Sirhr

the reaper is trying, but the humans wont let him do his job

im all for wiping them out (and a few others while we are at it), but the meteor is a better idea

the infected will wind up in my town somehow

meteor is a one time deal, no collateral. of at least collateral that maters to me

Ebola flourishes in areas along the same equatorial line as Central America. Still though, a border wall
might send the wrong signal. Don’t want to appear insensitive.

Central/South America also got it's own strain of hemorrhagic fever. The Lassa virus. Equally dreadful symptoms as Ebola and also known to be harbored in certain species of bats.

In my opinion this excerpt says it all:

"Since then, attacks by armed militiamen and locals – who maintain that the harrowing contagion is a scheme brought in from the outside – on Ebola clinics have only escalated as the spread of the disease intensifies. Dozens of individual medical professionals too have been targeted by community criminals, including leading epidemiologist Richard Mouzako who was shot dead earlier this month as the attackers screamed that “Ebola doesn’t exist.”

Okay, then the US should pull ALL outside assistance to that region and let nature run its course. One issue with Africa is that it has been propped up by outside resources for far too long. If not for food, engineered foods, vaccines and other support this would be a non-issue because the population in Africa would be a lot smaller.

True. The article said they were destroying hand wash stations around the area.

Yep, and the sentiment of the people in the region seems to be that of the antivaxx movement on serious steroids.

Perfect example of what the lack of education fosters. Remember when some tribal shamans suggested that if AIDS patients killed and ate the flesh of albinos, they would be cured? WTF out of WTF...

Best make that a non-white phone or you will be labelled a racist.......

Telecommunication-fluid?

@Veer_G

Did Uncle Schartz send you that pic of his new phone? I guess its the travel model he can stow in his “work purse”....

And yes. The region is so full of ignorance that is overpowered by “magical” ideas and fairy tails that the people believe it.
Sad state of affairs.
