Rifle Scopes Well, Time to start

Well, since my ar came quickly, I thought I should start a whole bunch of threads on it. So This is the Optics forum, and I have a question about optics again. Well, I plan to get a bushnell 3200 Elite 10x mildot. Now Im down to the base/rings.


1 piece or 2? Quick detach or non qd? I have many questions, but I'll start with those.


And suggestions on different optics would be great.

Pick up a sightron SIII and place it in a Larue LT-104 places it at the perfect height. Plus you can remove quickly for BUIS.

Hey, Im not loaded with money. I want somethin good. Larue sounds great, but I dont need that high end stuff for this build, I dont think

Yeah I know that Larue is not cheap but you did not say budget mount or optic. I would go with something like Burris XTRs in the highs. they cost about $50 or less. Good luck!

not a cheap base. Save up for a good one, but do I need one is what Im trying to ask (a qd base)

Is your rifle a flat top, flat top w/ a removable carry handle, or is it an A2 upper with the integral carry handle?
