I lost my edc knife last summer because I’m an idiot. And since I’m still a bit gun shy about spending ~$200 on an edc knife I got a few relatively cheap knives to replace it with. The first is a Vosteed Racoon that isn’t available anymore with this specific blade profile but I love it

My tactical kitchen knife, can fit in pocket with saya 
So my knives are all done. I also sent him a knife he made me back in 2007 to regrind, etch and make a new sheath and scales for. Supposed to ship tomorrow so hopefully I can get my anxious paws on them early next week. He did rosewood on the old blade at his discretion. I asked for amboyna burl on the other two. They all turned out great.
This is the older knife that’s now wearing rosewood. The sheath wasn’t much and I’d replaced some stitching with sinew after it wore and cut through.
Benchmade Osborn Contego for yrs. Was worried about losing it as they don't make it anymore. Retired it and switched to an Adamas. If Im feeling frisky on a weekend, it's an Emerson Super Roadhouse.

A long time ago I was told something similar by someone who knew abit about blade work.
There are 2 rules to knife fighting.
Rule #1 Always run from a knife fight!
Rule #2 Alway revert to rule #1!
I have the black handled version in Flat Grind like that one. Hard to beat that for a simple work knife.
I guess you could argue the 25+ year old River Rescue isn't in my pocket, but on my belt.
But then neither of them are in my pocket, they're on my desk.
They're both model 100's, which didn't dawn on me till after I posted the photo.
I've become very fond of carrying a cleaver blade knife for utility. I just find it's easier and more useful to just do away with the majority of the point and this blade geometry of this Gerber Asada lends itself better to the stuff I pull it out to cut every day.
I probably have 150 knives, and like this one the best for edc. Maybe not stabby enough for some people. It'll slash with the best of them.
CRKT M16 . Had one at last job when the IT guy says wow nice knife . I asked if he really liked and he says yeah , very cool . So I handed it to him . Yours . I'm on number 2 now .
My EDC Carry is a Benchmade #556 Mini-Griptilian. I like them so much I have 4 of them: Black, Blue, Tan & OD Green handles. Two with plain Blades and two with partially serrated.
