So, i bought this new as a truck/offroad rifle a few weeks ago. I finally broke it out to toy with and realized right away something was sketchy. I took it apart and WHAT THE HELL, it looks like it was made in a 5th grade shop class. There are chatter marks, gouges, and spots hit multiple times by the same tool. The locking lugs are not the same size, the bevel on each lug is different and one is bent.

I dont believe its safe to shoot. I contacted Rossi and am waiting to hear back, ive literally have never seen such poor workmanship on a firearm

What you need is an on-road rifle. Off-road rifles are rough.

I had it in 5th grade, but they called it "technology."

Same idea. We built sailboats, bird houses and windmills and stuff like that.

We had shop classes starting in Jr. high. I made motorcycle brake and clutch levers in sand cast molds from melted aluminum cans.
