She is home for a few days seeing how it goes. She has been at the wife’s parents since he was born.
We have had her over a lot just for a day at a time.
My wife’s grandmother watches him when we are at work. Luna is pure energy so instead of her watching a new born fresh out of the NICU hand Luna we thought it best that she go to the in-laws till axe got bigger.

First trip out this year with a great group of climbing friends yesterday. 3800’ ascent from the valley below for some spectacular views.

Crazy snow day. Sorta wished I had a 2 stage snow blower. My ariens pro 21 was having troubles getting through the depth.

My daughter lives out there too. Said she was getting a whole lotta snow for it being spring.
Told her it would probably go away kind of quickly and then start warming up. Then just when she thinks it's over, somewhere around mid to late April it'll hit one last time just to let her know that mother nature is in charge.

This year they're setting all kinds of records for snow. More snow than the 82-83 snow season. Most snow that a lot of the resorts have seen. The resorts are thinking if this keeps up they will surpass 800 inches before the season ends.

Agreed. Matt's a great guy. Last fall on a random monday I was shooting at MKM doing some practicing and he showed up. He saw me struggling on the one prop and came over to give me some tips. He spent the next hour or so putting me through a mini PRS class. Great guy who took some time out of his busy day to help out a newbie in the sport.
I'll be at Vortex Vengeance as well, which will be my first two day match. I'm nervous but excited; hopefully I run into you! Squadding opens tonight in about a half hour!

A box of Axe .
Tried to get in on the hand forged axe head but I was late to the party. His mom didn’t like the idea of putting it in the wall of his bed anyway.
Cruised around North Comifornia yesterday.
Lake Oroville and the crazy wildflower bloom going on. Castle Craggs and the Trinity Alps deep snow.
Our spring turkey season opened yesterday, got out to enjoy the day. Beautiful day, started out at about 30* with clear skies. A lot of gobbling on the roost but things got quiet when they flew down.
Had these two young bucks come strolling though, they could not have cared less about my blind. Both went by at about 10’.
Birds were quiet, couldn’t get much of a reaction to my calling. Finally got an answer later in afternoon. Had 3 toms come in and give me a shot.
Nice way to cap a relaxing day…

Went to the WVU spring game a few weeks ago. Going to be a long year lol.

Sitting on the porch and drinking a nice glass of Valpollicella with Rebecca. Waiting on the big storm to roll in.
Not much of a view in that direction but just to the left is Rebecca. Much nicer view on my opinion.
We could also be part of the Neighborhood Watch Program because our presence is keeping the criminals off our street...
ETA: I stand corrected. It's actually Chianti Classico. I forgot I had swapped bottles in the store.

Meet Ranger, he is the newest addition to our family. He is an English cream retriever. He is 9 weeks old.
I just snagged 4 bottle's of Chianti Classico Santa Margherita 2015 out of the bargain bin of out local booze shop! $9.95 a jug. Washed down the pasta just right! And on a side note , yesterday I bottled up 6 gallons of Amarone and the initial tasting seems to be very good. 18 months before the final test.Sitting on the porch and drinking a nice glass of Valpollicella with Rebecca.
