This resided in this 40 year old heat pump. Damn thing is working great except it randomly won't defrost.
So I spent a couple hours wiring in a modern defrost control and rewiring the aux heater control wiring.
It was a balmy 3 degrees this evening with little to no wind. Let’s grill! 
Evening light gives an idea of depth perspective. Fourth day in a row I sat in the blower tractor for a bit. Supposed to be 9 below this evening. Fresh.

I grilled all the time in Alaska. Was always good no matter the snow level.

Couple hundred rounds through the deuce deuce today. All from the tank trap or off the gator in some form or another. Targets were 2-4 inches in size, and 50-100 yards in distance.
The med staff asked me to gently handwash the incision site and dry with a sterile gauze. One week, one day post-op...
Looks and feels good. Staples get popped out on the 15th, no indication of infection or any other nasty shit going on. If surgical time is any indication of healing time, this side (one hour three minutes), should heal up a lot faster than Mr. Right (two hours and change). The tunnel lite gets a little brighter every day. Longest damn winter in history.

As in the website? It is a domain. Same purpose as .com, .net, .org, and lots of others. The .fm is used for lots of podcasts because it brings to mind FM radio. There are tons of domains out there.
Probably back in mom’s basement.
Yesterday, we welcomed the sun. First to see it in several days. Daytime high made it above zero barely.
Got to shoot yesterday and today. Picked the slow poke (as @Geno C. would say), but still a challenge in a featureless landscape with little to no wind indicators. Back to the fresh weather and grey skies today. Quiet and cold.
It was snowing to hard to run a camera. The GoPro only made it 3 minutes.

Today’s view is pretty ok. UPS just dropped this off and it was in perfect shape. No craziness that seems to be happening more and more to ammo shipments.
Out the Kitchen window this morning. Wild Horses. And a Unicorn on the far left.

Doing some shop cleanup today. Drug the horse trailer out for a lap or two just to make sure it rolled still. Pretty sure the new horse isn’t gonna fit in this one, might have to sell it down the river.
Somewhere around 10th grade, my best friend's Dad had a beautiful black one like that, same trim, etc. My friend was in a hurry to go hunting one day but his Dad told him he had to wash the trailer first - someone was coming to look at it to buy. So he washed it in a hurry with the first thing he could find - Brillo pads from under the sink...

This one is an 82 or 83 so it’s has definitely seen its glory days. The pinstripes and trim are in pretty fair shape though. It rarely sees outside unless it has a horse in it which I’m sure helps out a lot.
I was at the local hardware store today and I think I met one of Junior Samples kids......
Finally got some snow and it's supposed to continue for a few days. Be careful what you wish for.

Found some of my old going away plaques from my time in service while cleaning up today . Always liked this one, might have to find a place for it to hang in the shop.
It appears tonight will be the bottom of the cold snap we have been enduring. As we speak -18. Low tonight -31 to -34, location dependent. High tomorrow -11 and by Wendesday afternoon high of +9. My furnace needs a rest.
Already have started a list of the cold spots that need attention, some that should have been corrected years ago. The flooring guys might be right, insulated heated garages should be a law up here.

Took my kids to the beach today. We found this shark egg sack washed up in the shore. The little critter inside was till moving so we threw it back in. Hopefully it survives. It’s most likely a great white as this was at Tomales Bay which is prime breeding ground for these sharks.
