Moving some dirt in the baby JD to fill some holes.
Well crap, I felt really bad last Friday and couldn’t get in anywhere until Sunday evening. I tested positive for SARS CoV-2 RNA or Covid 19. After five days of a slight fever, loss of taste, smell, and eight pounds, with excruciating back pain…..Covid died!

Thanks, and good luck. I'm much better still tired and a little foggy but thank God the back pain is gone. That was the worst, I've had a lot of back injuries in my almost 70 years and had to crawl to the bathroom but nothing like this. It was a cross between someone hitting you just below the shoulder blades with a 2X4 and the skin sometimes feeling like an extreme sunburn.
Add a pack, 4k foot climb, crampons, and 12.5k ft ASL.
Snow over your knees too.
Then the fun begins.
I bet you got to do some of that crap in a previous life though.
Shoot. Might hafta take the lady on a winter 14er for a date next weekend.
See if she gonna be tough enough for the PockeyClips.
She will kick my ass and use my carcass as a sled on the way down.

Spring: 1 month of melting snow and slop everywhere
Summer: 5 months of tourists and mosquitoes
Fall: 1 month of solid rain
Winter: 5 months of cold and snow
Rinse, repeat…

Little bit of pre use maintenance for the genny. Supposed to get an ice storm Saturday night/Sunday ish. A good once over and cleaning just to make sure we get some error free running if needed.
When they say 8lb per person... he’s a person!!
Hopefully I find a good load for the 142smk creed.

Had to take the solar charger off a feeder because of the friggin’ raccoons, and as I was getting ready to leave did a test run to make sure everything else was still working.

Decided the piston kit needed a home. Doing some tinkering to see how I can get it to run on a 7.5 inch 7.62x39 blaster. Might as well make it as close to “AK” as it can be

nice! I recently bought a TBAC TD specifically for shooting in my back yard. I shoot now, occasionally, but I wonder if my neighbors can hear. I don't really care, but I wonder... After I get the TD, I know they won't

Yep, plugs and muffs were a must with that damn thing. I finally re-barelled it to a 10.5" with a decent brake, and more importantly, a can.
It did make nice fireballs though. At close range, I suppose you could shoot the intruder, blind them, deafen them, and set them on fire all with one shot.

I sent in paperwork for an SBR in August and got the stamp back last week, I was shocked because I had been reading that it was taking almost 9 months to get the stamp in hand. Guess I was lucky... Sadly, no cans here in MA.
You know people in the state are stupid when a properly vetted sbr is accepted but a noise suppression device scares them.
Especially when the same over blown vetting process is available.
