The DMV here has you make an appointment. You can make it online. If you show up there is a lady at the front door to show you to a kiosk to make an appointment and come back. I was there maybe 45 minutes and everyone was nice.

Same, we made my son’s behind the wheel driver’s test with the office that I did mine at (longer ago than I want to admit). He was the only one in line and everything was smooth. I did my CDL test local to home (only location) and it was a PITA because it was in the “City”.

Given a choice, I’ll drive the 70 miles for the better service.

My parents actually went to the next county to get their license plates changed to handicapped rather than dealing with the DMV in our county seat.

I dare to compare though if you ever go into Elkins WV dmv you will be there for 3 fucking hours. Until they fugure out what piece of crap you need to fill out for everything! So FUBAR! Them broads look like they sat on there asses watching soap for their entire lives and you can see they grew out big.

It took me 4 trips to the damn DMV just to get plates on our new horse trailer. Every time I went in the fools.came up with some other reason why I needed to come back.
