• Watch Out for Scammers!

We've now added a color code for all accounts. Orange accounts are new members, Blue are full members, and Green are Supporters. If you get a message about a sale from an orange account, make sure you pay attention before sending any money!

Where do you get your news?

It really pisses me off that anyone with half a brain could tell that none of these people are your friend. They don’t want what’s best for for anyone in America! Case in point, that news video compilation. Trump did more than any President in my lifetime with quite literally everyone against him. Think about what could have been accomplished for all classes of people if they had just got the fuck out of the way. Why can’t the people that vote for these freaking idiots like we have now, not see that? I mean you can’t get anymore clear if someone bitch slapped you upside the face. They did everything in their power to undermine everything he did from the moment he took the office!

I always listen to Arnold down at the Corner Cafe..........he knows more than most of the liberal newscasters..........

Based on what I read on the Hide, I would say the membership is fairly well informed. I surf different channels, subscribe to several Substack writers and listen to several podcasts-Darkhorse is excellent for 'rona news, Bari Weiss' Honestly and a few of the folks I follow on twatter provide really good information that doesn't require me looking up shit to make sure it's real. My issue is I'm lazy and all these pod casts take time to watch and don't provide really current information.
What does the Hide recommend?

Beyond what has already been listed and with respect to @kenny1773 's sound advice, I also suggest the following for a deeper breakdown of happenings in world events and accompanying analysis. These sources will be on the far opposing end of "lazy" consumption. Do not expect today's trendy news item to be on the plate. However, they are great to browse, stay ahead of the news, and help understand the bigger picture.

https://css.ethz.ch/en/services/digital-library/publications.html <-Subscription based. I provided a link to their free publications.

https://www.stratfor.com/ <-Subscription based reports and analysis of various world affairs. (You can also commission research here.) Worldview is their product for world events.

https://geopoliticalfutures.com/ <-Subscription based strategic analysis with a focus on Geopolitical. I believe George Friedman broke this company away from Stratfor.

National Defense University Press. Home to various DOD think tanks and publisher of Joint Force Quarterly. In many ways this is an academic journal for the military profession to publish articles and as a platform to submit new ideas/concepts for peer review.

https://www.mathematica.org/services/research-and-evaluation <-Mostly commission work for corporations and government agencies, but you can sign up for their weekly newsletters for some free snapshots.

Also, since it has not been mentioned yet, for military affairs:

You can also subscribe for the daily news update from the DOD by signing up at:

Mostly it was from @Choid but since he's been replaced by Fed77 and he has wilted from the pressure of the PIT. I just turn to CNN and Jake tapper.

Here on Sniper's Hide and arfcom. Important stuff gets posted there pretty fast and those guys are good at filtering the CNN, MSNBC, Joe Scarborough communist lies and propaganda out.

InfoWars when I can catch it. Not kidding. If it's crazy talk, I know to just wait awhile.

Most news agencies are biased in some form or other.
BBC, WION, Al Jazeera, ABC,then consult the little old lady next door, and get her opinion after she's read the tea leaves.
🤔

Mostly just what I see in my local area.

I don’t trust much politicians or the media corps have to say.

BBC and AlJazeera.

Both are obviously biased but at least not as divisive as any US source, on either side of the fence. You have to read thru the rhetoric and use your own judgement.

I occasionally scan web sites for a couple of local TV stations to see if anything worth knowing has happened locally, but it's nothing but a bunch of mindless crap designed to distract the sheeple from any real news.

Haven't watched "TV" in a decade, haven't had "TV service" since I got my own place in 2015.

@theLBC
Thank you by the way….
no problem, but it should be noted that other than embarrassing examples of fake news, i mostly share things you will not find on "the news", or at least not from left leaning news outlets. i assume most of you will already see those...
