Why doesn't AI build a multi caliber single action rifle for 338 LM and below?

I can't understand why AI hasn't made a multicalibre rifle system for 338 LM down to the 6mm rounds.

What a perfect setup they would have if they reengineered and implement this idea.

Less setup and production costs, could charge more for the system and more diverse for miltary, LE and the civilian shooters (one system for all non hard target rolls).

Also customers should have the option for fixed stocks as countries such as Australia don't allow folding stocks (but you can own a DTA rifle which is shorter than a folding stock long arm. I know, our government is backwards and put to much weight on politicians that make decisions based on movie paranoia and manipulative / biased recomendations from policing authorities).

Hey Rodd,

The AXMC from my research relies on two actions, that being the short action and the long action.

What I'm talking about is an action that amalgamates the two similar to the DTA.

If the DTA was more ergonomic for my stature (6ft5 with long arms) I would simply purchase that.

I have found the bull pup design doesn't agree with me.

Or am I wrong and the AI AXMC is a one action for 6mm to 338 LM?

The AI AXMC (also referred to as the .338) is capable of going from .338 LM to any .308 bolt face

I just got word back from Eurooptic and you are right.

Now If I can get the 338LM AXMC in a fixed stock I'll be happy as a pig in mud.

I'm hoping that AI will come out with a fixed stock replacement for the folding hinge so the rest of us Aussies can own one.

There is talk of a run of fixed stock rifles for the Aus market, register your interest with someone like delta tactical mate.
