I found some of this old ammo from around 25 yrs ago in the garage and
wanting to know if I can shoot it? It looks like new. I see they don't make it anymore, only in 180 gr.

Re: Winchester 150 gr ST EXP

Whats the box color? If it's Yellow an Red I'd like to know the lot numbers, as I'd pay very well for certian lot numbers.

x3082 is model #.......where would the lot # be
I am guessing it doesn't matter anyway because it
is not in a yellow and red box right?

Re: Winchester 150 gr ST EXP

Their as good as it gets for shooting. They were made to drive deep in large game, Moose, Elk, Bear, ect. They will pass threw deer w/o expanding at all. They are good for another task, that being, glass.
Wish yours were in a Yellow an Red box I'm getting low of those in .308 win. I still have many in 30-06 though if needed.

They still make 150, 180gr St. Exp. but they have an aluminum cap, like yours.

The Lot # is on the other end flap.
