Well, the time has come. After numerous phone calls and request I have given this serious thought. Effectively immediately I will be accepting Winchester M70/FN SPR Rifle Receivers for complete builds and or re-barreling jobs. Thanks to all for your support.

Not as of yet. I've been turning them away.

Is there a supplier where the M70 actions can be bought, with falling into the crapola of donor rifles?

For complete builds and not using a donor receiver this may be the best option.

I'm open to almost anything. I've known for quite sometime that there was a devote Winchester following. My first choice would be a Rem700 or Custom but, some want Winchester. I'm just trying to provide them with a service. Thanks.

Those are basically like doing a remy action. The controlled feed need a cut in the barrel tenon for the long extractor used on them. The push feed are easier to do.

Re: Winchester M70 Receivers

Hi All
I have a Win 70 action and am missing the action screws and can't find any here in the UK. Does anyone know of a supplier that will ship to the UK please?
