Yes, I have searched, I have used the uber-google search engine.
I have not found any reviews on the NEW Win Stealth. I am specifically interested in the .308

What I have found is that it is the same action as used in the FN PBR series, it appears to nothing more that a FN PBR XP with an unfluted 26" 1-10" twist barrel. They both come in the B&C stock that does not have the palm swell.

To top it off, the winny is avialble for about 717 bucks. No pressing need to upgrade the stock, according to some, a trigger that can be adjusted, good twist rate and controlled round feed.
    Just no damn range reports.

I am conflicted. I would like a 700P, but they charge 870 bucks for what is essentially a 750 dollar rifle. The 700P is no longer made on a separate line as it once was. It is nothing more than an SPS varmint in an HS precision stock with spotty QC.

I had just about made up my mind to buy a 5R, but I can't quite make the commitment. I would like one, but with out the extremely long throat, and for damn near 1000 bucks, it is a tough pill to swallow. I like the 24" barrel length, I like the 5R rifling, I like the stainless steel. i don't like the long throat and again, the spotty QC.

I realize that any factory gun is a crap shoot, but is this Stealth too good to be true?

The new FN made WInchesters do not have the classic winchester trigger. They have the "MOA" trigger, which is a housed user adjustable unit which seems to be what everyoen has gone to since the accutrigger hit the market. You are stuck with it too, as the action is a bit different in order to work with this trigger.

Nothing against the new trigger as I've adjusted it down as far as it goes and it performs well. It is just that one of the things I've always loved about WInchesters was the rugged simplicity of the trigger.
