WTF? Officer kills active shooter and gets indicted?

Some people have lost their fucking minds. I am sure some (one) on the grand jury had watched a few to many CSI episodes on TV. Thinking there had to be a "better" way. Probably a transplant from California.

I sure as hell hope this sorts itself out the correct way.

Jurors are intentionally selected for gullibility.

way too many of the potentially good ones want to get out of serving, and often succeed.
i don't understand how i seem to always see (for example) retired college professors that have never served on a jury before.

Indicted "for being too successful in stopping the Active Shooter".

Put another way, "we know you had to stop the Active Shooter who was actively shooting, but you didn't have to kill her."

It sucks big time for sure. He will be acquitted very fast once it goes to real jury I’m sure.

Grand Juries are basically as biased as the prosecuting attorney makes them. It’s a lopsided affair. They see only the prosecution’s point of view and there is no requirement to show the defendant’s side.

Apparently in this case, the prosecutor is making the active shooter look like some woman with a tidbit of road rage. I wouldn’t be surprised if the grand jury was not given (or allowed to consider if they had prior knowledge) the information that the driver had already shot at several people.

Exactly, unless you have been on a grand jury you just dont know.
Another thing is that you may get a part of the case one day then another part 10 days later and yet another in another week and there not in the order of events.

The defendant can appear before the grand jury but only the prosecuting attorney can ask him questions.
It was four weeks of the best schooling ever on how fucked you are once you are in the system.

What's the old saying? "You can indict a ham sandwich."

They already do that with decision letters in most jurisdictions, indicting the guy is something else entirely and a miscarriage of Justice.

From the synopsis this was a more than justified shooting. Another example of spineless politically motivated cunts making decisions based on votes and influence rather than substance and fact.

This is why you have shitty and less capable people wearing a uniform in greater numbers these days.

Anybody worth a shit would see this and think... Fuck that.

*too

Just fixing it for you (from California)...

I want to see the dashcam video before judging.
The story is written in an ambiguous way to be one sided.
Did she fire at the officer during the pursuit?
When did she fire at her mother?
Why was it necessary to shoot at her with an AR15 through his windshield?
Once she stopped was it necessary to continue shooting at her?

There's several more questions that need to be answered and like I said. Journalist today have an agenda. They don't write the news they write stories for ratings.

So you have seen the video? Or you are just going by what the author wanted you to know and are willing to accept it as facts?
The DA brought his/her evidence to the Grand Jury for a reason. Possibly because he thinks there's a crime. Looks like the way he presented the case the Grand Jury agrees to let a trial decide if there was.

I am not going to take the word of the author as gospel nor the make the decision that what he did was criminal with out more details.
All funny questions, So you imagined the Cop shot her with any sense of threat ?
She didn't hear all the instructions like - stay down, put your weapon on the floor etc ?
Come on mehn, i know there're dirty cops all around but i refuse to believe a man leaves his house hoping to shot someone because he is a cop.
Most of your post is not worth a response. Trying to paint me as "anti cop" and blowing your dog whistle is pretty lame.

If this is true without some weird facts we don't know about... wow.

What's next... indicting our SWAT team for ending a 36 hour standoff after a guy killed his wife and 2 children and decided to shoot it out with us? This was 20 years ago, but there is no statute of limitations on murder in this state.

Ironically, we have immunity from civil liability, but according to this scenario, not criminal???

WTF!!!

When man looks back on the history of the demise of the American republic, he'll see that a major factor in it will have been weaponized political correctness.

the immunity from civil liability was created from nothing by the court a few decades ago. No one should have immunity from criminal liability. We must all exist within the law.

Maybe this will make police realize they are on our side for some serious hootenanny. It's not about race or color or police or civilian or vet. It's about ridding our nation of the corruption before the house and senate ruin us the same as the romans ruined their senate.
Corruption MUST be bled out. If you wear a badge and you are in a state where laws are made in CLEAR VIOLATION of the constitutional right to assemble, or bear arms, you KNOW you should not fire on a person getting his or her hootenanny on. If you fire on one of these boogaloos, you become a target that will be put down and more than likely ended by a high point with some punisher cerkote on it. You really do not want to be ended by a shit gun like that after a 308 breaks your plate do you?
This corruption must be dealt with by fire and the tree of liberty must be fed it's due blood!
There is ample reason I am a Belligerent!

I read the original thread and no link to dshcam video or any other information other than the same article in this thread.
What I read was more conjecture. So if you have any links to actual facts in the case please post them.

I hope that each and every one of us is afforded the opportunity to "Due Process" and not convicted by a news article.
In the original thread some of your questions have been answered in detail I recommend reading it. I linked it above.

If you wish to have your freedom taken from you by the likes of CNN, MSNBC, FOX. New York Times or any other dipshit.

Question- What is this officer's union doping about this? I would organize a massive strike/sick out/slow down. ANYTHING. This is total BS.
To my knowledge the local and State FOP have stepped up to help. The town is fully behind him. I linked a letter in the first thread from the state FOP claiming to be 6000 strong.
