The YouTube link below leads to a number of fascinating WWII China-Burma-India theater film shorts, some in color. One (Chindits Operation Thursday) has Ronald Reagan narrating along with Walter Cronkite. Others (WWII Color Flicks) show jungle fighting in Burma with some early ghillies made mostly of natural vegetation. FYI:
