Suppressors Wyoming Governor signs concealed carry w/o permit

Re: Wyoming Governor signs concealed carry w/o permit

Utah is thinking the same thing but I don't think I'd like it.
I have a carry permit and I know of some peaple that would like to carry but can't pass the background ...200 a month can't --- (I think that was the number I heard)
Besides that my carry permit has gotten me out of many a ticket, I think the cops know if you have one your probly not a felon

Re: Wyoming Governor signs concealed carry w/o permit

Who cares if felons have guns? I don't see a felony exemption in the 2nd amendment anywhere. Maybe your copy is different. Besides that, he/she has paid for their crime with jail time etc. A right is god given and therefore cant be taken away by govt. Or do you disagree?

Felons have proven they have a hard time living with others by breaking the laws and so NO I don't think felons should have guns

2nd I never said that in my post

I will take a guess that you are speaking with sarcasm lol otherwise...spoken like a felon...or maybe a tree hugger that has never been victimized by a repeat felon. Sure there are those that are convicted felons and have gone on to be trouble free members of society but there are even more that do NOT. So to answer your question...YES I disagree. Felons should NOT have the right. If someone has been convicted of a felony there are provisions provided to allow that persons rights to be restored and those provisions are for the few- not the many

Re: Wyoming Governor signs concealed carry w/o permit

In my opinion, when you become a felon you loose all your rights. You had a chance to live a decent life, and you screwed it up. Now deal with the consequences.

Replace your "I" with a "Y". Wrong state bud.

Re: Wyoming Governor signs concealed carry w/o permit

Wisconsin allows open carry without a permit but nobody there really allows you to carry in there establishment. Also I believe its illegal to carry while in a vehicle.

Re: Wyoming Governor signs concealed carry w/o permit

We have a ccw w/o permit in AZ. I think it was stupid to pass that law. The bad guys are going to conceal the weapon ether way, and the bad guys don't care if they get a concealed charge slapped on their murder charge anyway. I have my ccw permit.

Re: Wyoming Governor signs concealed carry w/o permit

Why do you think it is stupid... why should the Government restrict our rights? If we were to accept your premis that bad guys are going to conceal anyway then why restrict that right from the good guys. I do feel that anyone who is going to carry should go through training ... But personally I am tired of the whole nanny State concept.

Re: Wyoming Governor signs concealed carry w/o permit

Personally I don't think we should need a permit to exercise our 2nd amendment right to keep and bear arms. When will it stop?....now they want to get into regulation what you choose to eat. We are far too complacent as little bits of our rights erode away under the guise of the government doing "what's best for us"

Said very well. Amendment II is a right, no citizen should have to carry a card, give money to the government for their rights.

I believe in and served for all citizens and all rights, period.

Alaska has no CCW permit once 21, that is the only part I do agree with is age requirement. Good for Wyoming!

Re: Wyoming Governor signs concealed carry w/o permit

I carry under HR 218, but if I didn't, I'd get the CC Permit anyway (to carry in other states).

But what I like about the bill, is the CC Permit is MY CHOICE, and not the governments, as it should be.

By the way, from what I've read, it doesn't take effect until July, somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

Re: Wyoming Governor signs concealed carry w/o permit

Colorado is trying to pass similiar legislation, HB-1205. It's made it's way through the house already...

Good job WY! Show the other states it's ok.
