    Still asking a bunch of intrusive questions that have nothing to do with its consitutional mandate of enumeration.

    However, instead of a form that you can pick and choose what you fill in you get an internet questionnaire. Which never finishes until you answer every question.

    Needless to say, I'm probably going to get a visit.

    I can't wait to fuck with the guy

    If you answer that you don't live at the address for the form your filling out , it wants the address where you do live.
    They make it impossible to do it online without answering all the questions.

    And it does state if you havnt done it online by a certain time then a form will be sent to the address

    followed shortly there after by the Jehovah witness and there pamphlets . besides didn't the United States Census Bureau lay off all the old door to door people 30 years ago ? or is it just 3 90 year old men traveling across the county on foot .
    Number of employees: 4,285 (2018) that's not really a lot of employees
    Jehovah's Witnesses has over 20 million worldwide members that almost made me cry thinking of that many of them all knocking at doors every Monday - Sunday in shifts oh my god .

    Not very intimidating, at least not last go-around. Neighbor's ~18 y/o daughter. Wife was very nice to her. Came back a few days later with her supervisor and he basically asked pretty please.

    I wrote in American. Which is the correct answer they should receive from the vast majority.

    Dont they realize that stupid questions lead to poor data collection.

    Oh wait this is a government survey... sorry for the redundant comment above.

    Fill out the number of people in the household and send it in. You can bet the leftists in the cities will be making sure every illegal and welfare hoodrat is being counted. You owe it to your community and it's constitutionally mandated. When they show up because you didn't answer all their questions that's none of their business, introduce them to the dogs.

    We had one show up a few evenings ago, we was eating dinner and i told them to pound sand. She informed me it was the law! I said well u can come back another time, please go away.

    I've gotten the little blue census cards in the mail too. I've yet to fill them out but I'm doing just this. I'll put the number of people in the household and that's it...

    I've never had anyone stop by, unless they stopped while I'm at work. In that case I'll never see them. My dog won't leave the porch or front yard and I bet they won't leave their car either...

    I answer two white adults live here. That's all they need if they are only counting heads, as per the Constitution. Anything else that I don't want them to know, I just give them fucked up answers.

    I take great offense to the race question.

    We've been being hounded for 10 years that saying anything about race is bad....

    Well then stop asking about race. It's pretty stupid anyways, most folks are a pretty big mix and race really is used to basically mean skin color and assumed area of the world some ancestor may or may not have come from, based on skin color.

    And what is so crazy about that is the democrats/liberals/SJW types are the ones actually insisting you be "Pure Blooded White" to be counted as white, since a little black will make you "African American".... Maybe they just never really ever stopped being racist bastards.

    They don't need to know skin colour, that's not constitutional.
    They just need to know 2 adults live there, I don't see why they even need to know your gender.
    It would be nice if they actually only counted Citizens in how they divvy up the votes and fed money.... but that is well a lost cause thanks to the Democrats.

    All I wrote on the web form were the number of people in the household and their names. I take their claim that they want names so as to avoid double counting at face value.

    It's not like they don't already know who lives in my house.

    I have the mailed form sitting in my stack of stuff. Haven't done anything with it yet.

    I already did it online. No big deal. Its not the KGB taking notes on your lives and checking your underwear drawer. It's the government counting people to redistribute your representation in Congress.

    Male or female?
    Essentially, "are you married, heterosexual or not?"
    What's your race?
    Nation of origin?

    Demographics. This is not the conspiracy you're looking for.

    I completed the online version several days ago. I found if you hit "Continue", or whatever the button was to move on, enough times (varied between two and three times) it would let you proceed without answering the question.

    I just got nabbed by the census guy. I answered the door thinking it was a package i was waiting on and/or someone interested in renting my place. I knew I should have installed a RING camera outside.

    Anyways, he was super nice, tried to ask all the stupid questions. Asked him what I was obligated to answer, he said nothing.

    Census is a part of the earliest foundation documents. It’s critical in every way to the country. No matter how Fubar some of the feds May be... don’t knock the census.

    And be nice to the census takers. At least they are fulfilling a Constitutional duty better than most in Congress who can’t keep their oath for 5 seconds.

    Jefferson, Washington, Franklin... they all knew the census was core, which is why it is one of our earliest laws.

    The census lady was at my place Sunday. And while Schloss Nitrocellulose is not a place for a trespasser to get caught... she identified herself, was very professional and despite her damn Prius was received and treated with respect.
