I wanted to see if anyone has a good way to check that they have set their parallax adjustment to the correct setting. I know most use the wobbling head method, but I can never get that to work. Moving my head around changes the amount of pressure applied to the stock which changes POA, so I'm not sure how one tests this accurately. Any suggestions

I like to pull my head straight back until I see a nice ring of black around the lens, making sure that the hole is centered and pull back into my shoulder straight back until the circle "Juuuussst" disappears. It is such a small difference in distance that as long as my scope is in the correct position it never seems to alter my NPA. That's just me. It helps a lot when shooting my .50 to keep me from removing my eyebrow.

When using the "wobbing head method", don't allow any part of your body to touch the rifle. Of course you have to able set the gun in some type of rested position for this to work.

Gotchya, so it's not something that I do after setting up and right before taking my first shot. Its something I do after I place my target, adjust parallax first.
