i havew a yugo sks and i am trying to remove the bayonet to put a bipod on it i got. The bolt has been tapped on the edges to be locked in and i cannot seem, to get it loose, do i have to drill this out or what??

Re: yugo sks

That don't seem right, I had a Yugo and I just removed the bolt, unscrewed the nut and bolt, cut the barrel off right behind the grenade launcher in front of the front sight it then became a nice, neat little rifle.

Re: yugo sks

Someone probably staked the bolt in place. My Yugo SKS's bolt that holds the bayonet just unscrews easily.
