Zombie/End of the world truck build?

Looking to build a "Zombie" truck!

Obvious considerations in my mind would be:

Hardening the exterior (bumpers) and interior.
Something older with as little electronics as possible due to the EMP threat. I hear 1977 or older, but don't konw if that is the case.
Possible gun turret and mount.
Additional fuel and water.
Spare tire and basic automotive tools.


Wondering if anyone on here has ideas or experience with this kinda project.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

LOL, thanks. I was wondering if I was the only one that found this CRAZY. Save the money on the truck and spend it on a psychologist

Until they tip over and crush half thebpeople on board.

I reccomend some tight leather pants and a semi truck laden with fuel and shooting towers


I did see this little guy in Amarillo a while back....... I wouldn't wanna mess with the guy who owned it.

No get a gas truck they aren't as noisy and wont tip off your location. Save the noise making for me, I'm going to need those full diesel tanks when the zombies invade...

Lets be serious here get a deuce and a half and armor up the bed and doors.replace glass with bulletproof. The rear would make nice gunner positions and the thing is apparently very hard to stop.

whole project would cost less than 10k i would assume
