So the story goes....
Built by an armorer utilizing a Navy match Mcmillan stock (gray m14 cut). Stock was originally bedded to a double lug receiver. It has been artfully bedded to this standard Springfield Armory commercial receiver. Barrel appears to be a Barnett barrel (markings pictured). Gas system unitized by welding on the inside, again artfully done. Word on the street is, these were Navy Match, pre port security rifle stocks. Brookfield Precision Scope mount, very early Mark 4 "Ultra" rings, Leupold Mark 4 10x M1 mil dot scope, all included. Have not fired the rifle since I purchased it. Have a build coming due and something needs to move. $3800.00. No pay pal (sorry)
