(SecDef Nominee) Pete Hegseth Interview w/ Shawn Ryan

This should be interesting.

On Accountability...
“[G.I.] Joe also knows that if he loses his rifle, he’ll be demoted immediately,” he wrote earlier this year. “But if a general loses a war — or billions of dollars of military equipment — nothing happens.”

Rifle Scopes What are the class leaders per price point for the 3-4.5 bottom end scopes?

Basically I’m looking for the best 3-4.5 power bottom end scopes at the $3k, $2.5k, $2k, $1.5k price points (plus or minus $250 and used scopes included). I’m personally maxing out at the 2.5k price point but would love to come even further down if possible.

I’ve had Mark 5HDs and I think I would have been happy with them, but I wasn’t happy with their pr2 reticle as it wasn’t legible until deep in the zoom range and the mirage performance wasn’t the best.

I’ve heard good things about the LRP S3 and ATACR 4-16, but I’d love to hear y’all’s opinions about what else is out there and what would be a meaningful upgrade.

Thanks.

Harriet Tubman Posthumously Named A General In Veterans Day Ceremony

A General ? Really??

CHURCH CREEK, Md. (AP) — Revered abolitionist Harriet Tubman, who was the first woman to oversee an American military action during a time of war, was posthumously awarded the rank of general on Monday.

Dozens gathered on Veterans Day at the Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad State Park in Maryland’s Dorcester County for a formal ceremony making Tubman a one-star brigadier general in the state’s National Guard.

Gov. Wes Moore called the occasion not just a great day for Tubman’s home state but for all of the U.S.

“Today, we celebrate a soldier and a person who earned the title of veteran,” Moore said. “Today we celebrate one of the greatest authors of the American story.”

Tubman escaped slavery herself in 1849 and settled in Philadelphia. Intent on helping others achieve freedom, she established the Underground Railroad network and led other enslaved Black women and men to freedom. She then channeled those experiences as a scout, spy and nurse for the Union Army during the Civil War, helping guide 150 Black soldiers on a gunboat raid in South Carolina.

Nobody would have judged Tubman had she chosen to remain in Philadelphia and coordinate abolitionist efforts from there, Moore said.

Rifle Scopes Zeiss LRP S3 6-36 VS Steiner T6xi

Hi All,

I am in the market for a new scope for my heavy barreled 6.5 cm. I plan on competing in a few PRS matches next year and general long range shooting.

Question is how do they stack up against each other? I know I can get both around the $1500 mark and really like both reticles.

Any experience with tracking issues, CA, and what is the overall glass clarity like? I am leaning toward the Steiner now, but second guessing after reading more about the Zeiss.

Thanks!

This is what happens when you're old and no longer any use to someone.

And all that remains is the hate.

Joe Pedo could have done a faceplant and "Dr." Jill would have continued to ignore him and kept on walking.

She was hoping he'd fall and stroke out so she could go back to dressing like a twenty year old slut in her fishnet stockings.

0,5 MOA promise details?

Hy everybody,

I am new to this forum and I am from germany.

I like to understand what a 0,5 MOA promise by a manufacturer means. It is hard to find detailed info about what exactly they promise. How many rounds? Including first round? What about multiple groups and do they all need to meet the 0,5 MOA?

At the moment we faced some trouble with MPA rifles for PRS and they give a 0,5 MOA promise, but from our point of view the rifles did not achieve this. Up to now, it was impossible to get any details from the German importer what is promised by MPA.

Maybe somebody has more info and any feedback is welcome.

Best regards

Oliver
