You can see in the pic that the side was pushed in a little bit and it broke. There was a tikka t1x barreled action sitting in it. #2 Meopta Optika 6 4.5-27 X 50, First Focal RD Reticle, MRAD, 30mm tube, MPN 653595. Great reticle for an all purpose scope. Very visible at low power unlike most FFP optics. Has illumination but not really necessary with this reticle. Nice locking elevation turret with zero stop. Optika 6 are great value and nice glass, not sure you can do better for the $$ This scope may have been mounted but I don't think it was ever used it. $675 shipped

Hey guys. I run a close range brush gun (.308 18" barrel) with a Leopold 2-7 vxr. My wife and kids have been taking over this gun so I'm going to put something similar together for myself. They don't make the scope anymore and I'm having trouble finding an equivalent. The application here is an extremely fast lift and shoot scenario. Most of the time it is on two power and I always run it illuminated even if dim.

What is so absolutely stellar about this scope for this application is it's small and very lightweight. The illumination is absolutely daylight bright, which l almost always run on because it makes it so much quicker to get on target. 2x is perfect and in conjunction with the illumination can easily be ran both eyes open. It does excellent in the low light. It has the perfect reticle for this. HEAVY duplex with a 2 moa illuminated dot.

The only thing l've found so far that is interesting is the Burris Fullfield IV illuminated 2.5-10.

Do you guys know of anything else out there?

I've been reading the constitution and the federalist papers to my daughter (she's only 2 but I believe that getting these into her subconscious will create a strong foundation). I want to educate myself about the American history on a deeper level and understand things such as:
- Complete American history
- Government departments and their effect
- Economy
- Court rulings (especially 2nd amendment related)
- Christian morals and their influence on culture
.... and so on.
You get the gist.

I want my kid and anymore kids we have in the future to be God fearing America loving conservatives. I struggle with my faith but I know that I'm on the right track. Please recommend some books and resources that would help me educate myself and be a solid guide for my children.
