Getting electricians to agree is about like asking who makes the best action.

I’m putting up a shop . 32x36 lights, outlets ,over head doors and an outlet for welder . I have 200 amp service now . House is all electric.
I had two electricians come out.
One said I need a split 200 amp meter the other recommended getting 400 amp service. With the house being all electric I think the 400 amp might be wise.
I didn’t get the warm fuzzy feeling with either electrician that made me want to trust them.

So what says the few electricians on here.

I know, its been talked to death. But I am still curious.

I have a AR build with a lot of Mk12 flavour, with 18" barrel, rifle lenght gas and an AEM5 suppressor.
So far I have used a standard carbin spring and a H2 buffer.

But last week I got myself a Schmeisser multi wire buffer spring, which is a bit like the Geissele mg42 but with 2 strands of wire and compatible with regular mil-spec type buffers. The multi wire spring is a bit stiffer than the carbin spring. Some say that a stiffer spring with a light buffer is better for function. Others seems to prefer to add weight with a heavier than normal buffer. I did some testing the other day at the range.

I tried the multi wire wring with a carbin buffer, recoil was light but also snappy, at least that is how I would describe it. Ejection pattern was at 14-14:30.

Then I switched over to the H2 buffer and multi wire spring, a bit more recoil was felt but it also felt more controlled, more of a push. Ejection pattern was at 15:00.

What would you run?
I have thought about getting a H3 buffer but I am not sure it is worth the money.
I am not switching to an adjustable gas block.

Used, couple cosmetic scuffs. But nothing major. Glass is good.
I know these aren’t the most ideal reticles, and with the leupold customs shop shut down and the inability to get reticles swapped out…I’ll let it go pretty cheap.

I’m still new to reloading but trying to get a method down that’s solid. My goal is sub 1/2 moa at 100 yards with good SD and ES. This is what I’m planning to do with once fired brass.

1. Anneal
2. Tumble in corn cob media
3. Deprime
4. Lube, remove expander ball from FL sizing die and bump shoulder back .002
5. Use 21st century turning arbor for .002 neck tension.
6. Trim if needed, chamfer, debur and clean primer pockets.
7. Prime, charge and seat bullets.

Anything you would change? Expander mandrel and annealer are on the way haven’t started this whole process just yet.

Bought this earlier this year used from another SH member, never used it.... Manners PRS-TCS in High Plains camo. It has all 7 brass weights in the Area 419 arca rail (Took 6 out and left one inside so only 6 pictured) and one buttstock weight. This one also has the "extra" coverage paint option. Inletted for the Impact 737 trigger hanger (not by me I believe Manners did it definitely is professionally done IMO). Has mild scratches here and there, bottom of butt pad metal area has some mild scrapes. Shown in pics. Overall in very good condition.

So, I was not planning on getting another rifle, but the PX had a 20% off sale going on and had a Ruger American Gen2 Predator in 308 Win. I got it for $400, no tax. I just could not pass it up. I am wanting to do a chassis hunting rig. Trying to keep it fairly light, maybe 8 lbs with scope. I have been looking at the offerings and right now it looks like KRG Bravo, MDT Field, MDT LSS, and Sharps Bros Heatseeker for chassis'. I am also keeping an eye out for Black Friday scope deals. I would like to keep the scope under 20 oz with a 16x magnification. I do need to pull the action from the stock and weigh it so I know what my limits are. Also, while not a bare bones budget, I do want to keep it lower or I could have ended up buying a rifle already in a chassis system.

Open to suggestions. Anyone done a build like this? Thoughts on components?

I’ve installed an arca plate on my proof research glacier TI. It was not easy and basiclly had to have my friend do it because of the hollow voids in the stock. He added JB weld and it has worked great. I want to add arca rails to my other rifles. Any thoughts on adding one to a springfield armory 2020 waypoint flat bottomed and my HS precision rounded bottom rifle. I’m thinking a full length on the 2020 rifle at least. Not sure on which one to order.
