I request a Ruling by the Referee on this one

I'm noticing this more and more. A young butch looking woman in her twenties working at our local methmart starts growing a beard. I go in on a weekly basis and notice the transformation.

Next was a thin mustache, her voice is lower, a month later one of my workers stops by and calls her ma'am and it jumps his ass and acts like it wants to fight, saying "It's Sir!"

And now this. They need to add to her description 5-3", 140 lbs, red hair and possibly a full red beard.

Explain the Superlative Arms Adjustable Gas Block to me.

I've got my new gas block installed but I'm trying to understand a couple of the features. It appears that with the adjustment screw turned all the way in, it closes off any gas going through the tube. Then, the starting point is to unscrew it 4.5 turns which allows the full amount to go through the tube with none being bled off. But isn't there a chance to bleed off too much gas such that it won't cycle the bolt fully?

invader takeovers

just had this thought. there is obvious armed takeovers in CO. we've seen the vids. am sure there are many others around. these are prob felony acts in most places. why aren't the cops doing anything?
clearing a hotel etc would be a BFD.
they would certainly be out gunned and out fought.
they aren't required to protect anything or anyone.
they want to "get home safely". mah pension.
pols wouldn't allow it or order/authorize any action.
the DAs wouldn't jail any of the invaders or would let them out with scant fines or "community service".
usual harrassment, abuse and bullying isn't much use in this scenario.
cops are better used evicting legal residents for invaders housing use.
writing still more speeding tickets which is their favorite pastime is a better use of their service.
so defunding the police in their current form continues to be a decent idea.
their armored cars, choppers, body armor, military grade weapons, advanced comm is useless in current cop hands

What is President Trump's Strategy?

Do do not understand President Trump's campaign advertising strategy.

Why is he not hammering:

1) High cost of Gasoline?
2) Keystone pipeline cancelation?
3) Energy Importation levels vs Energy Independence?
4) High Grocery prices?
5) High inflation?
6) Increasing unemployment rates?
7) Afganistan?
8) Lousy foreign policy (Two major wars in the world, Ukraine and Gaza).?
9) The Border?
10) The Iraq financial lifting of the hold witch financed the current Gaza War?

And lastly, why is he not saying what is right with America?

I remember President Regan's ad Morning in America:

Presidential ad: “It’s Morning Again in America” Ronald Reagan (R) v Walter Mondale (D) [1984—PRIDE] (youtube.com)

He usually does not hire idiots, but he has a couple of morons as campaign managers.

Ok, I am just another lousy engineer but a updated campaign strategy would put this in the bag.

Regards,
Crankster

Guide rod doesn’t fit . Help!!

OK, so tried putting my guide rod into my new seven PRC however it goes in at too much of an angle because of the height of the cheek rest. Wondering if I can just shorten the Boretech rod by cutting an inch off the front end of it or any other solutions. pics included

Basically the guide rod is too long and goes in at an angle . I do know per Boretech customer that the guide rod will fit my Zermatt action . Just the cheek rest gets in the way and creates an angle

Shot a match with my Tikka T1x 17HMR

There are not many matches for the hot rimfires but we have a a few matches locally where 22lr, 22WMR, 17HMR, 17Mach2, and precision airguns compete together. This morning I shot the silhouette short course. It is the standard distances (40, 60, 77, 100 meters) on the NRA smallbore rifle silhouettes, shot from the bench. Today I competed using my Tikka T1x 17HMR with LW barrel, Lowey Tuner, Bravo, etc. I used Hornady VMAX sorted by OAL. my OAL range used for the match was 1.350-1.355. The photos give the stats on the ammunition and a view of the rifle. The course of fire was 80 rounds and I managed a perfect score of 80/80. The last time I shot the match in March, I scored 79/80 -- missed a chicken getting cute with my wind hold.
I know there are some 17HMR shooters here so I figured I would let folks know a few of us do get the chance to shoot some club level matches with the caliber.
