Accessories Fresh Gucci Watch for optics (RMR/RMRcc)

Greetings all. This is a vintage 1997 Gucci. I'm the original owner, got it straight from Gucci, I blame the Beastie Boys and PNC for making me think I needed a Gucci anything. I haven't worn it in 20 years or so.

Needs a battery, I can certainly get one put in so its ticking if you have...

RMR RM05, RMR Type 2, RMRcc, really like dual illumination RMRs of any flavor, Aimpoint micro, or ?

American or quality Euro 308, 6.5 Grendel ammo also relevant.

*Fresh is a reference to the Beastie Boys lyrics from Johnny Ryall. The watch is 27 years old and was $675 back in the dizzy.

We're getting RIPPED OFF!!!

Went to get some supplies for load testing and noticed right away the prices on powder and primers has made another big jump. Powder prices were increased by $10-$15 dollars a pound and primers were increased by $30 fricken bucks to $120.00 dollars for a box of a thousand.
I wonder how effective a "boycott" of some type would be.
They're straight up GOUGING the crap out of us.

Look forward to some thoughts, opinions, and ideas.

Best looking Chassis

I consider the following chassis some of the best designs (looks wise only):
MDT JAE-700 G4
MPA Matrix
KRG C-4
KRG Whiskey

There might be other factors that affect one’s opinion on what makes a chassis good or great but I am new to the long range side of firearms and it seems silly to consider a chassis based on just its design but I would still like to know which chassis you guys consider to be the best looking ones.

Point of diminishing returns for a 2-12 ish scope

Greetings all. Happy dance, I think I have my sons AR-10's figured out - they are kicking out brass at 3 o'clock and shooting straight.

With that said, on the optics front we have a 3 bears issue - one is wearing a 1-6 Razor, the other a 4-16 ATACR, and they seem to agree too little, too much respectively.

I believe "just right" is the Trijicon AccuPoint® 2.5-12.5x42 Riflescope

Maybe I'm a bad father, but I'm an MOA guy and so we're sticking with MOA for the purposes of this. I'm too dumb to divide by 10.

So with that said - am I missing anything that would be a better value for the ~ $1000 range for a 2-12 (ish) scope?

This is for a 16" 308, so as a practical matter we're a 600-800 yard gun due to home range and ballistic reality limitations.

Requirements - illumination, holdovers built into reticle, parallax adjustment, $1000 ish ceiling, real warranty, hold up to AR-10, and I feel like the Trijicon is already on the porky and long side at about 14" and 22.4 oz.

Am I missing any better options?

Is this acceptable for a high end ring manufacturer?

Hi everyone, i already posted a similar thread on another forum (more hunting oriented). I know you guys are more knowledgeable about precision shooting so i will ask here for more insight.

I recently bought several sets of rings from a reputable brand, very appreciated on forums. They look good quality. They have an integral level in the base. I opted for that model based on reputation and onnthe fact that the level, placed in the base of the front ring on the left, looked like a good compromise for a 450 yards max hunting rifle (take note that i will shoot up to 800-1200 meters at the range with this same gun but the main use of the rifle is to hunt roes, boars and fallow deer). This way i am able to check the level when rarely needed but at the same time the level doesn't stick out too much, keeping the rifle convenient to carry.

I made a test and found out that ALL the 4 rings i have, bought in a 1 year timespawn, have the level.. out of level! It's just a matter of half a degree and i know that, as long as the reticle is plumb to the bubble level, the level being off (and thus the rifle being canted) 0.5 degrees is no big deal, especially for the distances i am shooting at. That said, every one of the level is canted in the same exact direction and everyone is off by 0.5 degrees (this value was tested with reliable equipment and was the same also on my colt le6921 rail). I checked with rings mounted and torqued on a high quality integral scope base (defiance) and using multiple levels i know to be on spot as a reference). Also when leaning on a flat surface and not clamped to the rail, the rings showed the same exact cant.
The fact that all the ring levels are off by the same exact amount in the same directions tells me that the manufacturing of these rings is very consistent.. consistently wrong though!

How is this possible? For at least 1 year a reputable brand (i will not say the name of the brand because they have been great in assisting me and accorded a full refund) produced defective rings?

Thanks guys!
greetings from Italy

Spotters 15x56 Bino's

I've been running the Tract Toric 15x56 Binos for awhile now....use to own the Meopta Meostar B1 HD 15x56s and loved them....while the Tract Torics are pretty nice I am ready to step back up the the Alpha Binos and am looking at the 15x56 Swaro SLCs and the 15x56 Meopta B1s.

So are the Swaro SLC 15x56 still the hands down best glass? Has anyone done a side by side with the SLCs and the B1s? Do the SLCs honestly see $600 better than the B1's? Low light is not a huge concern as I am not a hunter and these will be used for spotting matches.
I know the Meoptas as I said I use to own a pair so I guess I am asking more about the Swaros.

Thanks Dave
