US Agrees to leave Niger

So we built an airbase and we are now leaving. I wonder what kind of equipment we will leave behind as part of the tail ticking I mean agreement.

Liquidation -- basically shipping cost

WARNING!! Be very careful getting a private message from someone seeking payment. There is a scam going where they make a profile very similar to the sellers - even using the same profile picture – and request payment quickly - but it’s not the seller!! If you PM me for payment information I will confirm it is me.

Don't post "I'll take it here" as that seems to invite scam payment requests - PM me with any questions or with "I'll take it"

Colorado House Bill 1270

The House narrowly passed this bill. On to their Senate. Of course, couched in terms of " promoting responsible gun ownership " . Anybody with the sense of a sea cucumber can see that this is simply one more lego in the construction of a system that serves as a barrier to private ownership of firearms in Colorado. Make it such a colossal PITA and/or expensive to purchase and own a firearm and eventually more and more people ( at least law abiding people ) will say " The hell with it. Not worth the hassle. " Wonder if this will pass 2A muster?

SOLD McMillan Stock Rem 700 SA

I literally picked this up with an action today and do not plan to use it. It will come with bottom metal, arca rail, and action screws. It’s not perfect, but in very good usable shape.

It does appear to have been bedded at some point at the recoil lug and trigger. I bought it with a Vudoo action in it. Was told it is the A5 and have no reason not to believe that it is. (EDIT. Most likely an A10/U10. Buyer has been tagged/informed of change.)

$450 shipped CONUS. Can do PayPal F&F, Venmo, or Zelle.

SOLD Finnish TKIV 85 sniper rifle REDUCED!!!!!!!!!!! $1500

sold REDUCD to $1500!!!!! This is my Finnish Tkiv 85 sniper rifle in 7.62x54R. It shoots sub-moa. It has an original Valmet stock and Valmet Toro block. Two types of Valmet stock were used by the Army, one with an adjustable cheek piece, and the other a "target" model. This is the target model.

The Toro block holds the barrel and is glassed into the stock, leaving the entire barrelled action free floated. The barrelled action is a Finnish M28/76 with a carbon fiber shroud wrapping the barrel. It has a match trigger. The scope is not included, but the picatinny mount is. $2000 shipped to your FFL, C&R ok.

The 7.62 TKIV 85, short for 7.62 Tarkkuuskivääri 85 (7.62 sniper rifle 85) is a sniper rifle used by the Finnish Defence Forces. It is based on the Mosin–Nagant rifle, using the same (in some cases antique) receivers. The Finnish Army has produced such rifles since the nation was founded. The Mosin–Nagant bolt-action rifles were modified in 1984 by Valmet who also manufactured new barrels for these rifles. The rifles were assembled in 1984–1985 by Finnish Defence Forces (FDF) Asevarikko 1 ("Arsenal 1") in Kuopio, Finland. Though the 7.62 TKIV 85 sniper rifle has been modified extensively compared to the standard Mosin–Nagant rifle, the use of the old receivers in these rifles makes them arguably the oldest small arms in current use by any military. Some of the parts used may date back as far as the 1890s.

Why is larue never compared?

I'm wondering why larue is never compared between LMT vs HK vs KAC vs SCAR?

I have zero experience in Larue. At the moment I'm very interested in LMT and I like the quick change barrel feature.

My buddy has an OBR, and he's recommending the larue large frame that has the "quick change" barrel.

It's pretty hars to find comparison videos online between the two, but very easy to find comparisons on the brands I listed. Am I missing something?

Before anyone mentions JP, I've owned/own JP large frame and small frame and can understand why they aren't necessarily considered in the "battle rifle" discussion. They're outstanding precision guns, but not really the same comparing to these others.

First can

Ok guys I am looking at buying my first can and I know this has been beat to death....I've been looking and reading for awhile and my answer seems to be TBAC unless I've missed something.

I want the best can made, best customer service, quietest, lightest best quality, best attachment ECT....MONEY IS NO OBJECT....only thing this can will be used for is 6 and 6.5mm. So my question is who's THE BEST and what model/models should I be looking at.

Thanks Dave

Ruger Precision almost a decade old, are they still holding up?

I was thinking about the ol RPR and how much it was a pretty neat rifle when it hit the shelves in 2015. I remember wanting an AI but I didn’t have the budget. The RPR checked a LOT of boxes and for the cost you were getting a LOT for your money.

I even remember HMFIC doing a really nice write up where he bolted all the whiz bang upgrades on his. The market was lining up to make aftermarket parts galore. Proof is still making pre fits so I wouldn’t consider it a “flash in the pan”

I still take mine out regularly and enjoy every minute of it. I just wanted to know if you fellows are still enjoying yours or was it just an entry level rifle you have moved past?
