Defects in the glass. Should I send this scope in or live with it?

20240511_142402.jpg

Lower right quarter, just right of the vertical stadia below the reticle tree. Looks like bubbles in the glass. I've had this scope for almost three years now and just now noticed this because I rarely shoot below 12X, power setting in the pic is 5X, scope pointed at an off-white door so the glass bubbles hopefully show up better. Now I've looked through this scope below 12X at least a couple times in the past and never noticed them. Leaves me wondering if this is something that can develop over time or something that was always present and I just wasn't paying attention. Anyways, what are your thoughts, advise, opinions, jokes etc..... Send it in and have the manufacturer look at it (Tangent Theta btw) or just live with it like I have been? This isn't a complaint thread, just a mild concern, this scope has served me well.

I set up this rifle to shoot 144 bergers, and it shoots them EXTREMELY well. The action is crazy smooth (I prefer it over my impact). I am only selling because I lost access, I had to a 1600-yard range. The rifle has about 60 rounds through it and easily shoots .1-.3".

The build as it sits ran a little over $2300, I am asking $2100 $1990, $1890. It is in perfect condition and ready to ship, I will cover the load data with the buyer if desired.

Storing, mixing and handling primers

So I was looking at the website for Ramshot Powders and noticed this lengthy info blurb on primers.

1715356534463.jpeg

Most of us have seen similar before, but it made me ask myself a few questions.

- what data sets were used to come to these conclusions? And where could one find them if interested?

- how much of this is lore and from old information or is this supported with current scientific studies?

- for number 1., I’ve seen various conflicting opinions on the effects of changing primer types in a load. All CAPS seems to indicate that this is a critical detail, yet I’ve not personally seen anything more than perhaps minor changes to results by changing from one brand to another. And most of that difference could have been within the noise of standard deviation.

-number 5. Is a rule broken all of the time by competition shooters for various reasons with no ill effects that I’m aware of.

- number 7. Is for factories and the OCD among us.

I’m interested to hear what others think and also in any hard data relating to the above posted warnings.

Maggie’s Compact tractor advice.

Looking to buy a compact tractor. This machine will be used 85% of the time mowing 6ish acres of wavy, hilly grass fields and
the rest of the time moving small rocks trees and stuff on 57 acres.

A good part of the mowing will be with the machine running sideways on a hill and I need the deck to be able to cut some areas at say a height of 6 inches due to rocks. Old timer once said to me "ya cant touch a shovel to the ground here without hitting a stone".

So would a flail mower be a better choice than a deck mower? I am favoring a Kubota B2601 and it seems they dont offer a flail mower so I would have to get an aftermarket one.

AI shooters, what espresso machine(s) do you have?

Curious to know what Espresso machines y'alls have, or have had, and how you like them. I'm looking for a delayed house-warming present to myself.

I'm fine to have a separate grinder but would like combo Espresso maker and frother. My main use-case would be making a latte in the mornings and mornings + afternoons on the weekend. It's only me, so I don't really need the ability to pull shot after shot e.g. for a family.

I would prefer a semi-auto but would consider a bolt-action😂 machine as well. Not really interested in the full-auto variety.

Not really too hung up on size/counter space.

I don't need to chase the absolute best latte available but if I could get into spittin' distance of even a SBUX latte I'd be happy with it.

I also want something that will last several years, not looking to replace this thing every year or two. I've definitely read on the coffee forums that for example Brevilles tend to wear out and you can't get parts for them.

Soo...whatcha got?
