Lube residue on bullet seating...

Hello,
on my brass preparing process I use the Redding dry Lube for lubing the neck and Redding Imperial Wax.

I Lube the body of the case with Imperial Wax and the fingers and dip the neck on the dry lube then resize.

After that, I clean the exerior of the case with isopropil alcool.

I not use the same product/method for the interior of the neck.
Some time I use a brush, but I think that some residue of dry lube remain.

Have some advantage on seating with lube residue?

Making some advantage on consistency?

Thanks

SOLD Leupold Mark 5. 3.6-18 CCH.

$1075 via PP or Zelle. Includes UPS ground shipping and insurance.

Not much to say about this optic, it has been a solid scope and I hate to part with it. I simply no longer use it.

It has been used heavily on a truck gun and looks the part. There are several cosmetic marks on the body and some dings in the finish (see pictures). It functions like a tank and the lenses are in great condition. I will include some Leupold Aluminum 35mm high rings and a neoprene cover. Thanks for taking a look and don’t hesitate to send me a message if you have any questions.

Interesting article on American /Western air inferiority

Not up to speed on the how our latest air craft stack up against other nations but I do understand we lack munitions and capacity to make more quickly.

The Wheel of Time

In long-range shooting, understanding what affects accuracy at different distances can feel like cracking a code for the first time. Time of Flight (TOF)—the time it takes for a bullet to reach the target—is a critical factor in this equation. Different aspects of performance that we look for as shooters with goals appear in different phases of this time lapse. Important metrics such as group size, initial velocity and BC, as well as Extreme Spread (ES), play bigger or smaller roles. All can be viewed as part of the Time of Flight spectrum. What works at shorter ranges doesn’t always hold up at longer distances. It’s not that the rules change, but the way those rules interact with time and distance shifts. Think of it like a wheel: as the bullet travels farther and Time of Flight increases, different parts of the wheel come into focus. Let’s break it down step by step.

the attacks continue

the attacks on trump and his allies continue.

actually surprised they haven't gotten worse. they will as planned. when the traitorous, corrupt congress reconvenes i bet it escalates. violent attacks on the agenda as well.
my concern is that trump has no reliable armed force at his disposal. dc pol, cia, fbi, schutz staffel, irs, all other fed armed bureaus likely be absent or involved in an overthrow. military is very suspect in terms of ability, motivation and willingness. senior command is all beholden to deep state.

Overland Style Trailer w/ Flat Bed

I'm looking for something that might not exist, at least as far as my Google skill is concerned.

I hunt a lot, and all over the country. My vision is some type of Goose Neck trailer with a tilt deck or low-boy style deck, long enough to carry a bunch of Japanese quarter horses or a bigger SxS; maybe both.

What I'm struggling to find is an option that has some type of overland type setup for remote camping. I don't need the creature comforts, but would pay for them if there was an all-in-one type deal. Ideally looking for something 4-season.

I'm not looking for a Toy Hauler / Camper setup. Have one. Love it. Need something lighter that can take some abuse.

Anyone come across something of this nature?

Help Choosing a Tripod

I am currently contemplating purchasing one of the following Tripods, but having never utilized one for shooting, not really sure which way to go and what things are most important with them. Don't hate, but these are all Leofoto, although not against other options as well. I'm not sure what the different models stand for or what the difference are between them.

I'm guessing I'll never utilize the max ht on most of these, but I'm 6' tall and whether I utilize it for glassing or shooting I'm thinking anyone should be adequate. I know 4 legs would require more steps to set up, but only 1 of them has 3 legs, and it is also the shortest of all of them. How much does it matter, the difference between say 40/36/32/28mm and 36/32/28/25mm? I'm assuming the ones with 40mm would have more sturdy support.

All come with the MH-60 ball head, so even though all of the tripods have higher load ratings, the ball head itself maxes at 66lb load, so I would think that would be the weakest point, anyways. Does it matter in regards to 100mm vs 75mm? I know I see most people using the 75mm bowl diameters, it just seemed like some of the ones I looked at, just happened to have 100mm bowl diameters.

Or are all of these just overkill and can go with something way cheaper? All listed I should be able to get for under $600 with the MH-60 head

1. LM-404CL+MH-60 88lb load rating/ Max Ht 88.58/ (don't believe I need something this tall)/ 4 sections (40/36/32/28mm)/ and 100mm bowl diameter (not sure what this matters if it's a + or a -)

2. LM-404C+MH-60 88lb load rating/ Max Ht 74.88/ 4 sections (40/36/32/28mm)/ and 100mm bowl diameter (not sure what this matters if it's a + or a -)

3. LM-364CL+MH-60 66lb load rating/ Max Ht 71.73/ 4 sections (36/32/28/25mm)/ and 75mm bowl diameter

4. SA-403CX+MH-60X 110lb load rating/ Max Ht 63.14/ 3 sections (40/36/32)/ and 75mm bowl diameter

4. SA-404CX+MH-60X 88lb load rating/ Max Ht 71.73/ 4 sections (40/36/32/28mm)/ and 75mm bowl diameter
