Bud Light Boycott Cost Tranheuser-Busch $1.4 Billion!!

Dylan Mulvaney at the Red Carpet for the 2023 Outfest Opening Night Gala at the Orpheum Th
Images, AP Photo/

Tranheuser-Busch claimed it earned record revenues in 2023 but admitted its “full growth potential was constrained” in the U.S. due to a boycott after Bud Light signed transvestite Dylan Mulvaney as a sponsor.
Yeah, “constrained” by $1.4 BILLION.
More:
In North America, organic revenue, seen as the best measure of operating performance, plunged $1.4 billion last year as beer sales by volume tumbled in the region, primarily due to a decline in Bud Light sales in the United States. Beer makes up the lion’s share of Anheuser-Busch InBev’s revenue.
Bud Light sales tanked after the company’s partnership with Mulvaney last April sparked an anti-trans backlash and calls for a boycott. A tepid response to the controversy from the company also angered LGBTQ+ advocates.
“In the U.S., performance remains very underwhelming with revenue down at double-digit rates as the group lost market share,” Aarin Chiekrie, an equity analyst, told CNNLOL.
After two decades of being America’s top beer brand, Bud Light lost the crown to Modelo Especial, a Mexican lager. Gee, I guess all those immigrant-hating, MAGA-bigoted beer drinkers forgot to be bigoted.
Bud Light made the same mistake the entertainment industry is still making — targeting its product at people who have no interest in its product at the expense of loyal fans. Bud Light puts a freak in a dress drinking Bud Light as though there are enough untapped freaks in dresses to increase its market share even after all the normal people walk away disgusted with the normalization of mental illness.

Ask Sports Illustrated how betraying its base with freaks in dresses and swimsuits panned out. Oh, you can’t. Sports Illustrated is dead.

This is no different than the Disney Grooming Syndicate feminizing Star Wars and queering its children’s content. Whatever market share you gain with female gym teachers and child predators will not come close to the loyal fans among normal people you lose.

Bud Light has since tried to win its old customers back with a new advertising campaign aimed at guy-guys. The brand also signed non-woke comedian Shane Gillis as a spokesman. But what Bud Light and Tranheuser-Busch have not done is apologize or admit to making a mistake.

My disdain for boycotts aside, if Bud Light wants its former customers to forgive and forget, Bud Light must take the first step with an apology. Until then, all of these Middle America ads filled with pickup trucks, American flags, and stallions just come off as patronizing — as if that’s all that’s needed to win us rubes over.

If you want normal people for customers, don’t make a weird guy in a dress the face of your company. Normal people cannot relate to transvestites. They creep us out. Plus, you can’t drink a Bud Light anymore without someone making a joke about how you’re going to turn gay. Of course, it’s wrong to make jokes like that. I would never condone that behavior. I mean, I do laugh at the jokes, but I feel bad about it afterward. Sometimes. Okay, never.

HILARIOUS!!! THAT'S 1.4 BILLION DOLLARS! $1,400,000,000!!!!

Crazy anti-Veteran Law

The fact of the matter is that some people are a danger to themselves and others when they're suffering from mental health problems, and they probably should not keep a firearm handy. That said, this is the most ham fisted, ridiculous, counterproductive thing I can think of. This is just another way for our enemies in Congress to shit on veterans even more than they already do.

If I was a veteran and needed mental health help this would completely prevent me from seeking it AT ALL. I wouldn't go near the VA or government affiliated office if it put my guns and rights at risk. Not that this would withstand ANY constitutional scrutiny, but those evil fuckers will pass it anyway. True fifth column shit.

You make the call: Is my 6mm ARC bolt action a ½-inch gun with factory ammo?

I’d like to think it is, although with an “on average” caveat.

I might be wrong, but I define a ½-inch gun as averaging ½-inch groups at 100 yards. I tend to shoot 3-shot groups because my POA and POI are the same and shots on top of each other can hide the exact POA. That makes it difficult to be precise.

Below is my whole 11x17 target sheet from two weeks ago. The yellow centers on the waterline targets are ¼-inch. On it there are 26 shots total, all in separate 3-inch groups except for the last group which was 5-shots. All shot from the bench with my SEB front rest.

Also, the distance to the target is important to mention. In my case my target distance was 106 yards, not 100. Those extra 6 yards make a difference in dispersion as shown on my calculations at the bottom of the target sheet. The best way to even that out is to convert the results to 100 yards after measuring all the targets.

I also made POA adjustments as I shot the groups. For example, my cold bore group (the single large target at the bottom of the sheet) was quite high – a WTF moment. I looked at my scope and realized I left my scope set .2 mils high from my previous outing . Shooting the waterline targets I used different holds for adjustments smaller than .1 MIL.

I calculated two aggregates – one with and one without the last 5-shot group. I had three groups larger than a 1/2-inch - The second group (first group on the top waterline) was .68”. The sixth group was .6, the other one was the 5-shot group, coincidentally also .68 inches.

The average of all the groups was .455 inches. Converting to 100 for apples to apples at 100 yards, all the groups averaged .429 inches. (100/106 x .455). Without the 5-shot group, the group averages dropped from .42 to .396 inches - numbers at the bottom right hand corner.

If anyone is interested, I’ve attached a PDF of that target sheet, of course with no holes in it.

Your "Non Lethal" Weapon of choice (when you can't use a "lethal" one)

What's your "non lethal" weapon of choice for things like "home/property" defense when the situation has not yet escalated to "imminent threat of death or great bodily harm?" Say someone is trespassing on your "external" property (i.e. not yet "breaking in") in an effort to destroy that property or cause property damage (eg. a neighbor that doesn't like the fact that you put up security cameras on your property that the neighbor perceives is focused on them/their property). You catch the neighbor in the act of attempting to strike down the cameras and destroy them. Or a protestor that comes to deface your property with paint or other items (or knock down your fencing) in protest.

Since they haven't produced any lethal weapons, yet, legally, you can't shoot 'em or even produce yours (just ask Mark and Patricia McCloskey, the two lawyers of Missouri), unless, perhaps, you live in Texas and it's night time. So, given that your State laws may permit the use of "non-lethal" weapons and/or the appropriate level of "force" to stop the crime being attempted against you, what would be your "non-lethal" weapon of choice to deter that aggression and stop the neighbor?

Letitia James Files Lawsuit Against Worlds Largest Beef Producer

Green is the new Red!

New York Attorney General Letitia James is now seeking to punish the worlds largest producer of beef products.

I’m suing @JBSFoodsUSA, the world’s largest beef producer, for misleading the public about its environmental impact.

The beef industry is one of the largest contributors to climate change, and JBS has falsely advertised its commitment to sustainability and endangered our planet.

Attorney General Letitia James said JBS USA Food Co, the Brazilian company’s American-based unit, has “no viable plan” to reach net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2040, making its stated commitment to achieving that goal false and misleading.

James said JBS has admitted its “Net Zero by 2040” commitment did not incorporate the vast majority of greenhouse gas emissions from its supply chain, including from deforestation in the Amazon.

Letitia James absurdly claimed families are willing to pay more for food if their products are better for the environment.

“Families [are] willing to spend more of their hard-earned money on products from brands that are better for the environment,” James said in a statement. “JBS USA’s greenwashing exploits the pocketbooks of everyday Americans and the promise of a healthy planet for future generations.”

New RF bino from Vectronix!!! Vector X

Hey guys these are gonna be awesome! Full AB elite, etched reticle (multiple versions), terrapin laser. 3 different mag ranges 8x, 10x, and 12x (all 42mm objective). 7k yards on range reflective, 2k on deer. And the price point will be very attractive for the package. Don’t want to confirm other details yet, but these are gonna be what a ton of people have been begging for.

NARROW BEAM DIVERGENCE

With its 905 nm, class 1M (class 1 in the EU) laser engine and a narrow beam divergence of only 1.5 x 0.1 MRAD (1.8 x 0.1 MRAD for the 8 x 42 model) it sets new standards in the commercial market segment.

Multiple reticles will be for intended use with a doubler or without. So the dual mag reticle is 2 reticles if you ever intend to use the doubler, or the simple reticle if you don’t.

SOLD Burris XTR2 5-25 mils FDE

I bought it a couple months ago and mounted it, but realized I would rather have a floating center dot. It would go great on a FDE rifle. Comes with the box and matching sun shade in FDE.

Asking $525 shipped. I can add rings or cantilever mount for $50 more. PayPal or Venmo.

I would consider a trade for a similar optic with floating center dot.

Women prs shooters

Is there anyone who shooters prs with their wife? I’m stuck and could use some help. My wife is small framed and is having issues with a 26 inch barreled gt plus 8 inches of suppressor hanging off the end. Total rifle weight is 14.9 pounds. We shoot team rtc matches and local club matches so having dope that is the same is a big thing for us. So my question is do I ditch this long gt and get a new 6mm barrel in 6 creed and cut it back to 20 inches and run the 112-115’s at 2700 and keep mine or do I try to cut her gt back to 20 inches and drop and both of us shoot 105’s at the same target speed. I don’t think I will be able to shoot the same fps by cutting hers back. Currently our rifles are with in 7 fps of each other.

Thanks in advance.

ntsupport for israel ?

i am having a diff time understanding biden's extravagent recent $ support for israel. he is under orders from a terrorist loving muslim who i suspect hates israel as much as he does america. biden's base has appeared out of nowhere as wildly antisemitic and pro hamas. the jews have been shooting themselves in the foot politically since FDR. but, their vote is not as important now as it was. i bet there are as many "voting" muslims in the country now as jewish. more to come soon as we know. i also understand the kickback mechanism in place with the NWO military funding. i still wonder WTF is the underlying reason,if there is one.

Firearms JM 336A Marlin 30-30 Nearly Mint Condition

Nearly Mint Condition JM Marlin 336 - $1000 OBO.

Much higher potential for accuracy with this "end cap magazine" model than the barrel band models.

I have not shot this gun. I took it in a trade to compare it against my brand new Rossi 30-30 and decided that I'd rather drag the Rossi through the mud than this classic Marlin. It's not absolutely perfect, there are a couple of light marks from handling, but it wouldn't be hard to believe that it had never been fired. It certainly has spent the majority of its life in a safe or on a wall.

Foul Mike

Hello all,

Today I talked to Foul Mike and got his permission to post this in Gen Pop.
Beings Mike has always had an amazing gift for telling a story with more belly laughs than my abs can handle, seems the Pit is fitting.

Last spring Foul Mike was getting seen about some weakness in his left hand.
They did some checking and found colon cancer.
In November he was diagnosed with ALS.
Yep.

He reassured me he getting great home care through the VA.
I called their home care/hospice medical director right after we hung up to verify this.

Situation is tough. He can no longer log in and read here (last visit was Feb 6).
Told me today a week or two till he takes his checkered flag.

Please pray for Foul Mike, Ina his wife, their kids and grandkids.

Foul Mike has been a member of the Hide since April of 2001 and loved every minute of good shooting information and all the jokes and fun.

Next time you shoot, take your first shot at 975 yds.
Cold bore.
At a 1/2 gallon jug.
Thats how you get good like Foul Mike 😉

Please share a great story or memory. The funnier the better.
Per Foul Mike’s request, I will let you all know as things change.
🙏
