MB camper van

Some additional info from someone who has done a lot of camping in a travel trailer and a truck camper.

I like a little room to move around and places for my stuff. A van can be great because it is compact, but it can also be cramped.

With a van, you are permanently attached to your living quarters. Not a terrible thing but remember that if you get all setup to camp and you want to drive somewhere, you have may have to partially undo your setup. A travel trailer can be easily removed from the tow vehicle and you can drive it without tearing anything down.

I've wanted a sprinter for years and may get one if I decide to start touring Europe.

Nothing to say, except that if something like this ever materializes that we would take PM's of people seriously interested and make a list. We would forward that information to Vortex and ask them nicely to build it and send us a bunch :)

Since this is a Vortex topic, just a reminder that we are also a mil/le Vortex dealer as well. Send all inquiries to [email protected] Attn: Richard

Texas hogs from field to table

When it comes to eating boars can be a mixed bag. Some boars eat fine while others will stink up the entire house when you cook them. Same is true with sows but your chances of getting a stinky sow is much lower than a boar. I have shot boars that smell so bad you don't even want to touch them with your knife. If given a choice I will take a 100lb or less sow if I am going to eat one.

Barrel Torque Ludicrocity

I googled "ARC tennon Specs" and the first relative link that popped up showed the below image. If you go to their website, Support page links to the same CDG pdf with 0.822. One link below is their other actions which says "not for CDG" and indicates a 0.825".

This is the EXACT print......and the one linked to their website.

I understand things change, so I always check the manufacturer's website to make sure I get the updated specs.

Don't get me wrong, I am not shitting on ARC.......I just made a decision to no longer offer prefits based on their own print/action inconsistency.

It sounds like .825 +/-.001" is pretty consistent from Bohem and others. However if I am cutting to a print.......then I am cutting to a print......and the burden of error/design is not mine. This is basic machining 101.

I also believe in providing the best customer service and experience possible. Given all this information, the best solution for me moving forward is to have any ARC action in hand when fitting a barrel.

Official (DTA) SRS, HTI, Covert, Hunter Thread

Another Range Day with the SRS and Covert, and as always, they don't disappoint. Just bugholes.
Tomorrow a buddy has a few Amish Friends who've cleared corn and have 1000yds visibility. So I'm putting on a literal Amish Rifle Range... Not a constellation of words I'd ever thought I'd hear. Will update.
You sure don't see that every day!
