Well, to get around "ethnic" discrimination lawsuits, at least. They can still sue for "age" discrimination. There is no law to authorize age limitations, like there is for the sale of alcoholic beverages at a liquor store, or tobacco products in some cases, etc. etc..... or "handguns."
The report didn't mention it (and I'm sure we won't ever see it), but I want to see the actual demographic breakdown of the "troublemakers." It did mention in a veiled way that it seemed to be both "Amish" and "Latin/Hispanic" but before I can call it an "Amish" issue, I want to see that report. I can't come to that conclusion based on the demographics of the high school, which seemed a lot more "diverse" than would allow for that conclusion.
I used a tall cocktail glass, at least I did until I dropped it this past weekend. D'oh! But it fits closer to the can so you use less extra fluid.Ok, so I got around to attempting to disassemble my Banish 30 and used the above trick. Can hardly believe it, but yep, it works! Left it soak for 24hrs and both the end cap and 2in extension unscrewed without much trouble.
Thanks man!
P.S. for soaking I used a glass carafe I found in Fleet Farm, of all places lol. Came with a sort of Pringles can plastic top. Just the right dimension for a 1.5” diameter suppressor. Keeps the can upright and I could add just the right amount of liquid (not wasteful but also enough to be effective).
Of course, glass is easy to clean. The carafe might fit a bit wider suppressor too.

Was about $4.
Now I’m so high class that I clean with my pinkies out.
Delayed, and non-reciprocating.It's hard to beat the mpx all around for me but the MP5 will always be king of the hill. There's a bunch of good options these days but some type of delayed blowback would be a must for me.
The only CLR use case I have right now is on the first inch forward of the chamber and the muzzle of my stainless barrels. I used to use it in the entire bore until I discovered that a putting a thick C4-wet patch on a cleaning jag one caliber smaller than bore size works wonders, without the risks of CLR. I prefer not to use CLR at all, but it can't be beat for nuking diamond-hard carbon.Be careful with that stuff.
In the picture below you will see a piece of Coroplast attached to my Mag Block along with a Pica Dry pencil and a sharpie. How do you note the current zero yardage of your rifle when storing it between range days?
For instance:
If I take my 6.5 hottness and confirm zero @100yds then go to 600 and 100yds banging steel, when the day is should I pull out all the wind and elevation and leave it at 100yds Zero?
Or do you leave it at the 600yd zero or 1000yd zero? (which is my preference but does not account for changing wind)
I normally leave mine zeroed @ 600 elevation and whatever wind hold I had remaining.
But I was thinking that this "stored setting" is also related to the amount of wind on that day shooting 600, and the temperature of that day at 600 and so on...
So technically it would be more accurate to at the end of the day go back to 100yds with Zero elevation and wind (basically take out the environmental conditions that existed at range last time)
When leaving it at 600, on my next range visit I just do a hold under value to confirm yardage at 100 plate (disregard wind), then start shooting at the 600 berm.
So do ya'll just go back to zero each time? or note what yardage(and possibly wind, temp etc..) it is left zeroed for?
