Glock .22 G44...?

Be careful with slide mounted optics on a lightweight .22 upper. Just the extra weight of the optic can cause reliability issues with standard velocity ammo. I swapped out the plastic irons on a GSG 1911 style .22 for some metal ones. Just the weight of the steel iron sights necessitated me going up to CCI 1400 fps loads for it to cycle 100%.

If you are interested in adding any kind of extra weight like an optic on a reciprocating .22 slide, keep this in mind.

With all that said, a close shooting friend of mine has the G44 and it is a hoot to shoot. Very reliable in both our hands with all kinds of ammo.

Pope Death Watch... WITH A PRIZE!!! Quart of Maple Syrup to the winner!

You keep using that word.

No one has yet proven there is or is not a god. Evidence isn't proof although it can be substituted for proof in a court.

If someone manages to prove "god" exists there's still the sticky wicket of proving the messiah. If I understand it correctly the jews believe in essentially the same god, believe in the essentially the same messiah and believe in the jebus was a prophet but they don't believe the jebus was the messiah. I could have that wrong, it's been a while since I looked into it.

Without actual proof there can be many philosophical "truths" and everybody gets a trophy.
Let me preface this by the fact I used to be an atheist and my bachelors degree was in philosophy. I used to be the king of being an eternal skeptic. What you are getting into now is what we call Apologetics. I have spent many years of my life on the question of the existence of God. I can go down a huge rabbit hole here (again). But I will try to sum up what you said and give an answer.

Correct. Evidence concerning the big questions of existence, the nature of the universe, and God do not necessarily equate to a 100% verifiable. But that means neither the Theistic nor the atheistic position are 100% verifiable. That means that both positions (as well as the agnostic position) requires faith. You either have faith that the evidence is more in favor of God, or you have faith that the evidence is not in favor of God. Whatever path you choose requires faith, despite what the atheists say. This is a reality that Lee Strobel came to as a devout atheist who came to the scriptural evidence in an attempt to disprove the Bible (see Case for Christ). This is a reality that is drawn out by Frank Turek and Dr. Norm Geisler draw out in I Don’t Have Enough Faith to Be an Atheist. Claiming to be an atheist or an agnostic does not absolve you from faith, you just have faith in things other than God. However I will say after looking at all the evidence and all the arguments for the existence of God (the moral argument maybe being the most compelling), I think it takes far less less faith to believe in God than it does to be an atheist.

Also your assessment of Christianity and Judaism is not really that accurate, because Christians were part of Judaism and was a sect for the first century

AB Quantum Major Update 3.3 + Calypso AB Mini

My non-AB units will say "ULTRASONIC" not sure on the AB ones. I'd contact them to start the RMA process.
Well that fucking sucks. I just updated it this morning and then drove 4 hours for a match tomorrow morning, AQB showed the .023 was installed and current.

I’ve got KnM next weekend too

Ebay scam

A couple years ago I bought a set of spiked feet for a long out of production tripod for less than $50.

The eBay seller sends me a FedEx tracking number that I check: shipment originated in Butte Montana and when I click on the shipment details, the package weighs 126 pounds. Destination is Springfield Virginia which is where I live.

Sure enough, four days later it shows delivered and signed for by Ken, whoever that is.

After contacting the seller I call PayPal. They check the tracking number, call FedEx and find out the address it was delivered to. It wasn’t mine.

They immediately refund my payment. I ding the seller with negative feedback and the seller continues to message me for days begging me to change the feedback in fractured English.

New toy - Car, boat, or ???

Truth.

If you're not set on getting anywhere fast or pulling a tube with a half dozen people on it the best you can do new for <$25k is a small-ish bass or pontoon boat. With a pontoon boat you can fish, float, get some big magnets and metal detectors to look for treasure or maybe hang a hibachi off the side so we can learn your name in the papers later when they report the fire.

A jetski or two might be an option, trailering two of them is easy. With the right accessories they work for fishing, I've run across people snapper fishing on one as far as ~25 miles offshore on a smooth day.

FTLOG ... DO NOT get a fucking bicycle.

For a thousand or two (or three) you can pick up some SCUBA gear and use the rest to fund trips. Maybe double down and get both the SCUBA gear and the jetskis.
hell of a RS catch.
