It's funny how attached we get to material objects.

I had a pair of eyepro-rated cool sunglasses that I wore on my second tour. I left them in an establishment at closing time and returned the very next day to retrieve them. They were gone, no lost and found, and nobody had seen them.

I was like, "Oh, damn... OK."

Before I made it across the parking lot I was just super annoyed with myself for losing them... and I'm still pissed remembering it.

lol, yeah. But, A. It was a poor joke and B. Is this just the equivalent of Hillary or Bill Cosby using a walker when under public scrutiny then suddenly not needing them? It’s the number one strategy used by defense attorneys. Make your client as feeble as is possible to elicit a natural softening response from the public.

Maybe it's a messaging thing though? There was a claim made by the regime that one dude on a large deportation flight recently had escaped from prison in Colombia on a murder conviction.

They didn't give his name though... and he accounted for < 1% of the flight he was on, and they seemed like they were proud of that statistic.

This all seems like completely fake bullshit to me.
